Chapter 9 - Sick

Murasaki's POV:

" Ngh..." I groaned as I slowly open my eyes.

I sat up on my bed, but it gave me a big headache, so I quickly lay back in bed. After a while, I decided to get up and go to the restroom. I grumbled to myself as I slowly dragged my feet there. I took one glance at the mirror on my wall, and I let out a gasp. My eyes were puffy and my nose and cheeks were bright red, and onto of that my hair was an absolute mess. Man, did I look terrible. I decided that I couldn't do anything today, and I just went back to my bed to lay down.

Today, I had a free day, and I was going to spend it pranking Kakashi with Obito, but it looks as if those plans were going down the drain.

" Wow, Murasaki, on your one free day, you're sick..." I grumble to myself.

Just as I said that, my doorbell rung.

" It's probably Obito..." I sighed, as I slowly got out of bed and wrapped a blanket around me, then headed off to the door.

It probably took me a good three minutes before I finally opened the door for him.

" Hey Murasaki! Are you ready t-. Wow your not looking so great." Obito commented.

" Yeah, yeah. I know, I'm sick. Sorry I can't go pranking Kakashi with you today." I apologize.

" No, its cool. Hey, I'll be right back, I'm going to grab Rin. She can probably help you since she's training to be a medical ninja." says Obito.

" Okay... yeah, sure." I say waving him off, " I'll leave the door unlocked when you get back."

He nods and runs off. After that, I close the door, but leave it unlocked. I slowly drag my feet back to my bed and lay down. After ten minutes, I hear my front door open and two voices. Soon, they open my bedroom door.

" Hey, Obito. Hey Rin." I greet them weakly.

" Oh no! Murasaki! Your sick! Let me feel your forehead!" says Rin as she gently places a hand on my forehead. 

" She's burning up...." Rin said, trailing off.

" Obito, get me a bucket of ice water and some towels." Rin instructs.

" Wha- O-Oh yeah sure!" he stutters before rushing off to find a bucket.

Just as Obito rushes off, we hear a knock on the window. I look up to see Kakashi 

He opens the window and says, " You guys are being too loud, what's all the commotion about?"

" Murasaki's sick." Rin replies, not looking up.

" Oh, poor you." Kakashi said with a hint of sarcasm as he climbs through the window.

He takes his seat on a chair across from my bed.

" Hey what is Kakashi doing here?" asked a ticked off Obito as he entered the room with the bucket an towels.

He set the bucket besides Rin and gave her the towels. He then stalked off to Kakashi.

" I'm here to make sure you guys don't kill her." Kakashi replied bluntly.

" Kakashi!" Rin scolded.

" Of course we wouldn't kill her!" snapped Obito.

All of a sudden, I started to laugh. They all just looked at me weirdly.
