Chapter 22 - Crazy Idea

A/N: Hey guys! Just wanted you to know that this chapter contains major SPOILERS if you haven't read or watched the whole Kakashi gaiden yet. That's all! I hope you enjoy the chapter!

???'s POV:

I was lying on my bed, thinking of my team. I really couldn't wait to get back to them. I smiled to myself, thinking of all of the memories I shared with them.

' I'll see you soon Rin, Murasaki, Kakashi.'

I was lost in thought, until White Zetsu came out of the wall.

" I was just outside! Your friends Rin, Murasaki, and stupid Kakashi are in trouble!" he announced.

I immediately sat up. " What happened?" I demanded.

" They're alone and completely surrounded by Hidden Mist Shinobi!" White Zetsu answered.

I shot out of bed, and ran towards the concrete wall. As I neared it, I pulled back my right fist to smash it. I jumped and hit the wall with my fist. The wall received cracks, but I didn't manage to break it. My replacement arm wasn't completely ready, so, it fell off. I jumped back, gasping in pain.

Zetsu jumped down to join me. " You can't break through boulders with that body yet. "

I clutched my shoulder in pain. " I have to save them."

" Why don't you wear my body instead?" he asked as he started to wrap his body around me.

" But you serve Madara. Are you sure about this?"

" Don't you want to help your friends?" he asked.

I closed my eyes. " Thanks you guys."

I then went over to the boulder I had cracked earlier. I put all my strength into the punch. Unlike last time, the boulder completely shattered. 

" So you're going?" Madara asked from his spot.

" I'm grateful that you saved me, but I have to go."

" You're being to hasty..." he started.

" I'll probably never come back here. I've given my thanks. I'm going." I interrupted. 

" .... You will return...." he rasped, giving me a hard stare.

I looked at him for a brief moment before turning to Zetsu.

" White one! What is my friends location? Take me right away!" I called out.

" What you've got on your body is like a clone of me. We can talk telepathically over certain distances."

I nodded. It was now time to leave. I ran out of the cave, ready to save them.

Murasaki's POV:

We were surrounded by the Black Ops of the Hiden Mist. Kakashi was shouting something at Rin and I, but I wasn't listening. Currently, I was figuring out how to end this. I had an idea, but I it seemed way too crazy. However, I couldn't think of anything else at the moment. 

' Hey Isobu? You there?' I asked him in my head.

' Yeah. Did you need something?' he replied.

'  I have this insane idea, will you hear me out?'

' Go ahead.'

' Well, you know about the Mangekyō sharingan right?'

' Yeah.'

'  So... I have these two friends, and I need them to unlock it for the future...... And... I was planning to have them unlock it by jumping in front of Kakashi's Lightining Blade.'

' Are you crazy kid? Do you have a death wish or something?'

' I know it's pretty insane.... but I was wondering if you could heal me or something after I get hit....'

' I could do that, but what if he hits you somewhere fatal like the heart?'

' I don't know. Maybe I'll have to trust my luck.'

' I don't think this is a good idea.'

' Please, I know my reasons are a little weird. I know but I'm doing, well not really.... but yeah, you know what I mean.'

' Fine, I guess. Just don't blame me if this fails.'

' Yes! Thanks Isobu!'

' Yeah, whatever. You can thank me later when you aren't trying to get murdered by Hidden Mist Black Ops.'

I snapped back to reality and looked around. The Black Ops were still there.

" Murasaki! Are you with us?" Kakashi asked, shaking my shoulder.

" Um.. yeah! I'm okay!" I answered him.

He shook his head. " Did you even hear what I said to you and Rin?" 

" Uh.... no?"

Kakashi sighed. " I said that I'm going to attack some of these ninja with my Lightining Blade. You're going to back me up with that fire of yours. Rin's going to follow closely behind incase we get hurt. Understand?"

I nodded nervously. 

" Alright then, lets go!" Kakashi yelled as he charged into the the hundreds of Black Ops.

Rin an I followed closely behind.

" Lightning Blade!"

" Fire Style! Mystic Blue Fire!"

It went on like this for a long time. Kakashi and I attacking the ninja.

I stopped for a moment to catch my breath and looked to Kakashi's direction. He was setting up his Lightning Blade again.

' Hey kid. You hear me? That Kakashi has reached his limit. He's about to pass out. This is your last chance to execute that crazy plan of yours.'

' Dang it. Now that I'm pressured to do it, I feel 100% more nervous that before. Screw it. I'm going for it.'

' Good luck kiddo...'

I briefly glanced towards the forest and saw Obito watching the fight. Our eyes met. He opened his mouth to shout something out, but he never did. I gave him a small smile before running towards Kakashi.

As I started running towards him I thought of all of the ways this plan could go wrong. But I also remembered there was a small chance it could go right. This was it. I jumped in front of Kakashi's Lighning Blade.
