Murasaki's POV:

I had just gotten back from training with my team and it was only noon. I decided that I really needed to know some kind of ninjutsu, because otherwise how could I call myself a ninja?

" Oh, that's right." I said out loud to myself as I remembered the episode that Naruto had learned his chakra nature.

He had used some kind of special litmus paper. Now where could I get that? I just figured that they would probably have it at the ninja supply shop, so I decided to head out in hopes of getting my hands on that paper.

I soon reached the shop, and asked the shopkeeper if they carried the litmus paper. Sure enough, they did have it, so I ended up purchasing a few slips.

"  I wonder what chakra nature I have. Water? Wind? Lightning? Fire? Or perhaps even earth?" I wondered to myself as I walked back to my house.

When I reached my house, I went to my backyard and pulled out a piece of litmus paper.

" If I have lightning, it'll crinkle. Wind, and it will tear. Water, and it will become soaked. Fire, and it will burn. And if I have earth, it will crumble." I said as I recalled Kakashi's words from that episode.

" Well, here it goes." I say as I start to let my chakra flow into the paper.

After a few seconds, the paper reacted by going up in flames. But instead of the flames being orange, they were blue.

" I guess my chakra's nature is fire, but why were the flames blue..?" I question myself.

" Well, I guess it doesn't matter to much. Its still fire." I say.

I think of what jutsu that I could possibly learn, and my first thoughts fall on Obito. After all, he's part of the Uchiha clan, and they excel in using fire style jutsu. The only thing is that I don't know is where he lives, but I do know someone that does.

I jump over my fence to Kakashi's house and knock on his back door. After a few seconds, he opens the door.

" What do you want? And why are you using my back door?" Kakashi questioned me sounding irritated.

" Sorry if I'm disturbing you, but you know where Obito lives right?" I ask him.

" Why would you want to know where he lives?" Kakashi questioned me looking slightly more irritated than before.

" Well, I just found out that I have chakra with a fire nature, and I was hoping that he could help me." I answer him.

Kakashi let out a sigh. " Fine, I'll walk you there, its not that far. But you better not forget."

" Yay! Thanks Kakashi!" I cheer as I flash him a smile.

He just rolled his eyes.

On the way there I tried to start a conversation, but it seemed that he didn't really feel like talking, so I gave up.

We soon reached Obito's house.

" Well, here we are. Don't get lost on your way back." he teased as he started to walk back home.

" Hey! I'm not that stupid!" I call after him.

He probably pretended not to hear me, so he just kept walking. What an ass.

I then turned to Obito's door and gave it a knock.  A few seconds later he appeared at the door.

" Huh? Murasaki? What are you doing here?" Obito asked me curiously.

" I wanted to know if you could teach me your fire style jutsu." I reply simply.

" How did you know I that I know fire style?" Obito questioned me.

" Well, doesn't the Uchiha clan excel at using fire style?" I pointed out.

" Oh yeah... I forgot about that" he laughed while scratching the back of his head.

" Duh." I laughed.

After we finished our laughing fit, Obito asked me " If you want to know fire style jutsu, then you must have a fire nature, right?"

" Yeah, I do." I reply.

" Okay! That's all I needed to know! Let's go to the training grounds. Race ya there!" Obito said speeding off.

" Hey! No fair! you go a head start!" I whine as I race after him.

Obito did end up beating me. But that was only because he got a head start...

" Heh," he said wiping his forehead, " I won."

" Psh, whatever." I huffed.

After we regained our breaths, Obito did a demonstration of his fire style jutsu. He preformed the hand signs and then yelled, " Fire style: Fire ball jutsu!" A huge blazing inferno came out of his mouth.

" I wanna try!" I exclaimed as I copied the hand signs and tried to blow the fire like him.

But nothing happened.

I pouted, but Obito reassured me by saying " Its alright that was only your first try!"

I keep trying for over three hours, but still, nothing happened.

" I have to got now, Murasaki, but we can try again after training tomorrow. And you will learn this jutsu bye the end of this week!" he said confidently.

He waves goodbye and runs towards the direction of his house. I walk over to a nearby tree and lay down to stare at the clouds.

" Huh, fire style..." I wonder out loud.

A/N: Sorry for the bad ending! I really couldn't think of how else to end it. Anyway, the weekend is coming up, and I can probably publish more chapters then. Thanks for reading!
