Murasaki's POV:

I sighed boredly as I sat on my bed. The team and I had just finished our training for the day and I had nothing to do. Sure I could go annoy Kakashi, or go hang out with Rin and Obito, but there was something inside me telling me I was forgetting something. In my head I was running through the Naruto story when I remembered something.

" Oh my gosh... we're going on the mission that "kills" Obito soon..." I gasped. " And soon after that, we're going on that mission that results in Rin's death..."

I was horrified. These guys are my best friends, I just can't let them die. I needed to do something about it.... but what..?

After thinking for a couple minutes, I grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil and started writing things down.

1. When Obito gets crushed by the boulder, leave him alone. He doesn't die, and Kakashi needs the sharingan for the future.

2. Don't tell anyone what you know.

3. Before the the mission that results in Rin's death, talk to her. Tell her that she needs to heal me after what I'm about to do.

4. Take her place as the three tails Jinchuuriki . ( Risky, but it'll have to work, and I don't know what else can be done.)

5. Jump in front of Kakashi when he's using his lightning blade, but don't get hit in a fatal spot like Rin did.

6. Obito doesn't love me like Rin, but hopefully seeing me "die"  will make him and Kakashi unlock their Mangekyō.

7. Have Rin heal me, and tell Obito to come back to the village.

I looked at the list I had made. I was frustrated. This plan had so many holes, but I really couldn't come up with anything else.

I soon realized how tired I was, and I looked outside to see that it was already dark. I hid my list under my bed, and sat there. I started to cry. I was tired and frustrated and didn't know what to do. I had so many good memories with Kakashi, Obito, and Rin, they were my best friends. The tears started coming down faster, staining my cheeks. Without thinking, I let out a loud, agonizing scream that echoed into the dark night.

Kakashi's POV:

I was just going to climb into my bed, when I heard a scream coming from nearby. It was high pitched and most likely belonged to a girl.

" Wait.... isn't that... MURASAKI!" I thought, my eyes widening.

Quickly as I could, I jumped out of my window, and raced to Murasaki's house. Luckily we were neighbors, so the run wasn't far. I soon reached her house and started to look around, and noticed that her kitchen window was wide open. Without thinking, I jumped in and sprinted to her room. I approached her door, and threw it open. I spotted her on her bed, her eyes were puffy, and she was crying.

" Murasaki! What's wrong? Why are you crying?" I asked her.

" K-Kakashi..." she chocked out.

I sat next to her and awkwardly started rubbing her back.

" Hey, it's okay." I said. I sounded weird, I was never like this, but I guess I had a soft spot for her... gahhhh! What's wrong with me?

" Kakashi...." Murasaki said again.

" I heard you scream, so I came here, what happened?" I asked her.

She opened her mouth, about to say something, but then quickly shut it.

" I-I don't want to talk about it..." she mumbled, casting her eyes downward.

I simply nodded, and we sat there in a comforting silence.

After a while, she asked me, " Hey Kakashi... how would you feel if you lost me, Rin, Obito, and Minato...?

I looked at her, shocked. The question she asked was sudden and out of the blue.

" Well, I would be upset if I lost you, Rin, and Minato. Obito is an annoying idiot, but I guess I would miss him to...." I mumbled, while looking away.

A soft smile spread across Murasaki's face. " Huh... I guess you actually do care."

" S-Shut up." I mumbled, embarrassed. " And if anyone asks, this never happened."

" Sure thing Kakashi." she replied, sending me that smile of hers.

I tried hard to put on an annoyed expression, but on the inside, I was happy. Happy that she calmed down. Happy that I had friends.
