JAEBUM POV

Jackson and I walked to school, obviously he did most of the talking. I couldn't talk, all I could think about was that Park Jinyoung was going to be in my house this afternoon.

Jackson: Hey! Why aren't you talking to me? ....ah I see thinking about Jinyounggg

Me: Yeah but not because of what you think, look I need you to leave him alone

Jackson: Why? It's fun to bother and beat him up

Me: Okay yeah but.... Um... I need him for a good grade. And I don't think that having a bullied partner is gonna help me at all.

He nods and sighs.

Jackson: Well you right, so I guess I'm gonna have to give up bullying him. Onlyyyy while this stupid project goes on.

ENGLISH CLASS

Mrs. Chae: I have something to add to the project.

She said as she walked around the class handing out the required things we needed in our play to get a good grade. She made us sit next to our partners so we could work on our dialogue. So yes, I'm now sitting next to Park Jinyoung.

Mrs. Chae: There is something some of you asked once you entered, and that is if you need to include a kiss in your play.

My heart stopped as I heard her say that. Do I really want to kiss Jinyoung? New experience but... Then Jackson is going to be bothering me about it.. And Jasmine.. Nah she'd kill me.

Mrs. Chae: The answer to that is no, you don't need to include a kiss. However, it would be a big difference, I am going to choose three couples, one of each type and let them present their play to the school.

A few cheered, but not me.

Jinyoung: I'll do whatever, I don't need a high grade. And uh... I'm sure you don't want to kiss me so... Yeah

I just nod as he takes out a piece of paper so we can work on our dialogue.

The bell rings and we all start to pack up.

Me: Ah, Jinyoung. You're coming to my house today right?

He stares at me for a while.

Jinyoung: Uh, yeah. The sooner we finish the project the better.

He smiles and walks out, as I follow behind him.

AFTERSCHOOL // JINYOUNG POV

I start walking out with Yugyeom and Bambam, as I know Yugyeom is Jaebums brother, I told him to lead me to Jaebums usual after school route.

Yugyeom: There he is!... JAE!

I look up and see Jaebum walking with Jackson and two others, obviously Mark and.. Jasmine.

Jaebum: What?

Yugyeom: Aren't you and Jinyoung gonna work right now?

Jaebum: Yeah, I thought he was gonna go on his own, but I'll take him.

Jackson: Um dude, I'm going to my house with Mark, see ya.

Jaebum nods and Jasmine comes up to us.

Jasmine: I gotta go too baby

She kisses him and I feel my heart hurt, don't know why.. We aren't even anything and besides I'm sure Jaebum is straight as fuck. He's just stuck with me as his "boyfriend" for this project.

As we reach the top step of his house Jaebum takes his keys out and smiles at me.

Jaebum: Don't worry, I told Jackson not to bother you. Oh and don't mind my mom, she's a little too talkative

I nod and follow after him.

Jaebum: Mom I'm home!

He closes the door behind me and I see a middle age women come down the hall.

Mrs. IM: Hi honey! Who's this?

Me: My name is Park Jinyoung, nice to meet you ma'am

She smiles as I bow to her.

Mrs. IM: Ah, how I wish you were gay sweetie! I mean just look at how nice and educated, besides adorable, Jinyoung is! Ugh unlike that stupid girlfriend of yours

Jaebum: Mom!

I blush hard. Did she really just assume I was good for Jaebum to date? Well... On the other hand now I know for sure Jaebum isn't gay, his mom confirmed it.

Mrs. IM: What? I'm not lying, that stupid Jasmine girl is so uneducated and so annoying.

Jaebum sighs and pushes my back a little.

Jaebum: We're going to my room, please don't bother us mom, we're gonna do homework.

He leads me to his room and once there closes the door.

Jaebum: Sorry about my mom... She doesn't know what she's saying, doesn't even know if you're gay and already shipping you with me.

He chuckles, ughhhh why does he sound so fucking sexy?

Me: It's okay, and.... We need to get working on this dialogue and all the acting done.

We sit around and start working on the dialogue for our play and the situations that will be going on. We were sitting so close that I keep feeling shivers room down my spine.

After 2 hours we finally had most of our play done.

Jaebum: So for the ending right? Um is it going to be a happy or sad ending?

Me: Hm.. Why not happy? I mean most of our situations are a little sad you know, arguments and all so why not end in happiness.

He nodded and stood still, as if he was thinking about something.

Jaebum: Jinyoung..

I look at him waiting for him to continue.

Jaebum: Are we gonna do the um..... The kiss?

Me: Oh... I don't know, all your choice. I don't wanna force you just because we may get a better grade or anything. Me being gay I don-

I suddenly stopped, shit... Did I just tell him I was gay?

Jaebum: So you are gay?

I sigh and nod.

Me: I-is that a bother to you?

Jaebum: Nah.. I mean Jackson is gay as fuck for Mark so no, I don't mind.

It stayed quiet for a few minutes until he broke the silence.

Jaebum: I'm not gay, not that it's bad... But I'm not. But.... I do want a better grade

Me: So what do you mean by th-

Jaebum: We're gonna add the kiss to end our play with happiness

Shit... This is gonna be fun.
