RADIAN AND DEGREE COMPARED
The circumference of circle is 2πr, so the unit circle had a circumference of 2π. A rotation of 360⁰ has a measure of 2π radians. Half of a revolution is a rotation of 180⁰, or π radians. A quarter of a revolution is a rotation of 90⁰ or π/2 radians, and so on.
When the distance around the circle from the initial side to the terminal side equals 1, the measure of 0 is called 1 radian. One radian is about 57.29578⁰.
