It is funny to think that most of us likes to read stories with the casanova protagonists but we really don't know what casanova really means, right? If I tell you, will you still read stories about casanovas?
Well, casanova means promisuvos that means maniac; sexually agressive. It is named after Jovanne Jacomo Casanova, an italian lover/adventurer.
Gigolo - according to our English 1 prof., it means a man who is good in sex; who can satisfy a several woman. According to webster's dictionary (old dictionary), it means a professional male dancer in a dance halls, cabarets, or the like, who attends women patrons or visitors. A woman's paid escort. Gigolette for girls means prostitute.
So, what now?
Sometimes, we misinterpret casanova as playboy.
Casanova and playboy are way different. Well, I just realize how maniac a casanova is. I already know the difference between casanova and playboy but I I have quite no idea about casanova. All I know is that casanova is worse than playboy.
