He's back from touring -Adam

It's been three months, it feels like an eternity. I think him being on tour has made me realise that I'm in love with him. I'll be doing something like washing the dishes or hoovering the stairs and I'll find myself thinking of him. He's not getting back for another couple of days but I'm already excited that I'm going to get to see him again.

My friend Tess is supposed to be coming over today to keep me company. It's kind of strange because when I started dating Adam I had no idea who the 1975 were, my friend Tess on the other hand knew all about them. I wasn't with Tess when I first spotted Adam in that coffee shop but if I had of been, I imagine Tess wouldn't have been so chill.

When I found out that Adam was part of the 1975, I knew I had to tell Tess. Obviously at first Tess didn't believe me but after I'd showed her the selfies she had to. She was actually really chill when she met the guys, but I'd read her fanfics so I knew the 1975 wasn't something she took lightly. I was a little sceptical at first because I didn't know how Tess' obsession was going to affect my relationship with Adam but things couldn't have went any better. Tess actually treats the boys as normal people now, which of course they are.

Just then the doorbell rings snapping me out of my little day dream.
"Look who I found" Tess beams when I open the door
"Adam" I squeal "you're back early!"
"Surprise" he says putting his back pack down before hugging me
"This was literally the only reason I was coming over" Tess laughs
"I love you" I reply hugging Tess
"I brought little souvenirs back for you" Adam explains putting the backpack down on the sofa
"Than you" I answer walking through to the kitchen "did you have fun?"
"I did" he sighs "I am tired though"
"I told Jase, I'd go meet him" Tess calls "I just wanted to be here to see your reaction, I'm gonna go"
"Text me?" I reply
"Will do" she answers
"I brought you water" I say to Adam once I'm back in the living room "I wasn't sure whether you'd want tea or not, because you may want to take a nap later"
"Are you going to look at your presents?" He asks motioning to his backpack
"Yeah I will" I answer picking up the backpack.

The backpack is extremely heavy. I open it and I'm shocked at how many little trinkets are in the bag. It takes me a while to go through all of the things but my favourite is a small figure of the Statue of Liberty.
"Wow you must have got a souvenir from every single state" I gasp
"I did" he laughs "but you've forgot to open something, it should be at the bottom of the bag"
"Okay" I say finding a white envelope
"This means a lot to me too" he admits
"I'm nervous" I giggle, opening the envelope to reveal a key
"It's a key to my flat" he explains "we've been dating for a while and whilst I was away I've come to the realisation that I love you"
"I was thinking the same thing earlier" I sigh "I've thought about you loads and every time I've thought about you I've probably had a goofy grin on my face, and it's all because I love you Adam Hann"
