Chapter 9

Perrie's POV

I got off the bus and saw Jade at her locker. I took a deep breath and was about to walk over there when some guy walked up to her. They were giggling and talking but I couldn't hear what they were talking about. I saw him give her a kiss on the cheek and then he left. Are they dating? I shook my head and walked over to Jade. 

" Hey Jade." 

" Hi Pez." 

" So, about yesterday.." 

" Perrie, I told you to just forget it ever happened. It's not like you did kiss me." 

" Ok, but who was that guy you were talking to?" 

" Uh he's just a friend." 

" Are you sure?" 

" Would I ever lie to you?" 

" No. Anyway, do you wanna come to mine later?" 

" I would love to-" 

" Great so see you later yeh?" 

" Wait Perrie!" 

" What?" 

" You didn't let me finish. I would love to, but I have plans." 

" Is it with your family?" 

" No, I have plans with a friend." 

" Ok, well can you stop by my place before you go?" 

" I don't know." The bell rang and I sighed. 

" Sorry Pez. Maybe another time, yeah?" 

" Sure, bye Jadey." 

" Bye Pez." She kissed my cheek and then went to class. I could feel myself blushing right now.

Perrie's POV

I trew my bookbag on the floor and plopped down on the couch. I turned on the T.V. and checked the time. It was 3:00. I searched through the channels and put it on spongebob. a few minutes later I heard a knock on the door. I groaned and stood up and opened it. I had a confused look on my face. 

" I thought you had plans?" 

" I did, but I cancelled them so I could hang out with you." 

" Jade, you didn't have to do that." 

" I know, but I was thinking that why should I hang out with some guy I barely know, and hang out with my best friend." 

" Ok? Come in." I move out of the way so she could come inside. 

" What do you wanna do?" I ask. 

" I just wanna talk." 

" About?" She grabbed my hand and took me upstairs to my room. She opened the door and locked it behind her. 

" Why'd you lock the door?" I ask. 

" Because I don't want anyone to hear us." 

" Ok. What were you gonna talk about?" 

" Perrie, remember when I said that I have no feelings for you." 

" Yeah." 

" Well I think I like you as in like like you."
