Chapter 14

Jade's POV

Me and Perrie were now in English class. I didn't pay attention to what the teacher was saying. I was too busy staring at Perrie. She's just so beautiful. 

I felt someone tap my shoulder. I quickly turned around to see Leigh. She came closer to me. 

" I saw what happened in the hallway." She whispered in my ear. She winked then walked back to her seat. I shook my head and stared at my desk. 

" Jade? Jadey?" 

" Huh?" 

" Are you ok?" 

" Yeah, i'm fine." 

" Are you sure?" 

" Yes." 

" Ok. So, I was thinking that I could go to your house tonight-" 

" For what?" 

" Did you pay any attention to what the teacher was saying?" 

" Uh, no?" 

" He said we have to do a project with a partner, and I chose you." 

" Oh. Well I guess you could come to mine." 

" Great! See you later Jadey." She pecked my lips. I stood up, grabbed my bookbag, and headed to my next class.

Jade's POV

i closed the door, threw my bookbag somewhere in the house, and plopped down on the couch. I grabbed the remote and flipped threw the channels. Nothing I liked was on. I threw the remote down and walked to the kitchen. I pulled out a small box of biscuits and started to eat them. A few minutes later, the doorbell rang. I put the biscuits down, and walked to the door. I opened the door to see Perrie. 

" What are you doing here?' I ask with biscuits shoved in my mouth. 

" I'm here to do the project with you. Don't you remember?" 

" Oh, right. Uh, come in." I moved out of the way to let her in. I closed the door behind her. 

" So.. Where's your mum?" 

" Uh, she's not here. Why do you ask?" 

" Just wondering. So, nobody's home, right?" 

" Right. Anyway, we really should get started on the project." 

" Yeah, we should. But I don't want to." 

" Then why'd you come over?" 

" I just missed you." 

" Aww Pez . I missed you too, but we really need to work on this project you speak of." 

" Right." 

" So, are you gonna tell me what it's about?" 

" Oh, yeah, um. We have to make up our own poems." 

" That doesn't really seem like a project?" 

" Well he said it was." 

" Whatever. So, what type of poem do you want to do?" I looked over at Perrie and she was on her phone. 

" Perrie?" Her head shot up from her phone.

" Huh?' 

" I said, what type of poem do you want to do?" 

" Uh, can we work on it tonight? My mum wants me home because I have to clean, but i'll come over tonight, yeah?" 

" Uh, yeah, sure." 

" Awesome! I'll see ya later baba." She pecked my lips then left. I smiled and plopped down on the couch.
