Chapter 41

Jade's POV

" Hey.." Perrie said awkwardly.

" Uh, hi." I chuckled.

Perrie flashed a smile, but I knew it was fake.

" You okay there, Pez?" I asked, scooting over so she could sit down next to me.

" Actually, no." I looked at her confused, and I was about to say something, but she started explaining.

" It's about our mums," After a few moments of thinking, I nodded for her to continue.

" Jade, when my mum went to go talk to your mum, your mum hit mine."

" W-What do you mean?" I asked, curiously.

" Your mum slapped my mum. Then she yelled at her, and my mum just left after that. I don't know where she is, but she called me and told me that she's safe. So I guess that's all that matters to me." Perrie smiled. But I didn't.

I sat there thinking about what Perrie just said. And the only question that kept running through my mind was..... What happened to my mum?

" What else did she say?" I gulped.

" Who?"

" My mum." Perrie nodded.

" Oh, right. Well, she said that she wanted you to come home. She loves you Jade, and I know you hate her at the moment, but I know a part of you still loves her. Am I wrong?" I sighed and my eyes finally met with Perrie's.

" Yes, you are wrong." Perrie gave me a confused look, so I just kept talking.

" I don't love her anymore. She keeps making decisions that only SHE wants. She doesn't even listen to what I want!" I sighed and ran a hand through my hair.

" I'm just tired of all this. I want her out of my life, for good." I said.

" Well, tell me what you want and I'll get it." Perrie said, putting her hand on my knee.

" I already got what I want." I answered, smiling.

" Really?" I nodded.

" What is it?" I bit my lip nervously before answering.

" You," I said, simply.

My heart was racing because I had no idea what she was going to say.

" Wait, what?"

" Perrie, remember when my mum said that she didn't want us together?" Perrie nodded.

" Yeah, but then she said that she was okay with us being together." I gulped.

" Pez, she was lying."

" W-What do you mean? You seemed happy after she said that!"

" I know. But I was faking being happy. I knew that she was lying. She doesn't like us together,"

" Okay.." Perrie said.

" But anyway, I have you now. And that's all I ever want." Perrie gulped.

" I need to go." Perrie said quickly, getting up from the bed.

I grabbed her wrist and tried to stop her, but she snatched her wrist away and ran out the door, slamming it behind her.

What the hell is her problem?
