Chapter 37

Perrie's POV

 I plopped down on my bed, trying to ignore the fact that my ex-girlfriend is lost. Ever since Jade texted me, i've been thinking bad thoughts about her. Like, what if she got hurt? What if she got hit by a car? 

" Perrie, you ok?" I looked to my right to see Leigh-Anne sitting beside me. 

I jumped a little.

" Leigh, you gotta stop showing up here out of no where! How do you get in anyway?" 

" Um, I use the window." 

" Why?" Leigh shrugged. 

" Anyway, what's up with you?" I shrugged. 

" It's just that there's a lot of stuff going on right now." 

" Like what?" 

" Jade's lost," Leigh-Anne sighed. 

" And she texted me asking for my help...." I didn't say anything after that. If I did, then i'd burst into tears.

Leigh looked confused at first, but then she soon caught onto it. She looked at me with a shocked expression. 

" No. No no no no no. Please don't tell me that you said no to helping her." I looked down at my hands, not saying a word. 

" Perrie, how could you be so stupid?!" I looked at Leigh-Anne, anger boiling inside me. 

" Me? You're the one who told me to give her some space, so that's what i'm doing!" 

" Yeah, but she's lost! She asked for your help, Perrie! You should go help her!" 

" But you said to give her some space-" 

" i know what I said. But she's lost for crying out loud! And if you help her, then you two could possibly get back together." 

" Why do you care about Jade all of a sudden?" Leigh-Anne shrugged. 

" Do you care about Jade?" Leigh shook her head. 

" Not really. But I care about you, and I just want you to be happy." 

" Oh, so now you're nice." Leigh chuckled. 

" Look, I know me and you didn't get along so well, but I actually want us to be friends. And maybe I could be friends with Jade too." Leigh said, smiling. 

" I don't know, Leigh. And i'm not even sure if Jade would want to be friends with you. I mean, you did bully her." 

" Yeah, but me and Jesy have really changed." 

" Fine, but you only have one shot. When, or if, Jade comes back, if you or Jesy hurts her, I will kill you both. Understand?" Leigh chuckled. 

" Sure. Now," Leigh-Anne stood up, holding her hand out for me to take. 

" How 'bout we go find Jade? Together." 

" Are you serious?" Leigh nodded, smiling. 

I smiled and took her hand in mine. 

Maybe she has changed.....

 Me and Leigh started walking to my mum's car. I stopped walking when I saw someone staring at me from across the street. 

" Perrie?" Leigh said, walking towards me. 

I felt her put one arm around my shoulder. 

" Perrie, get in the car." I didn't answer. I just kept staring at the creepy guy staring at me.
