Chapter 40

Jade's POV

"Hey," Perrie said, sitting next to me.

" How are you feelin'?" Perrie asked, putting strands of hair behind my ear.

" Same as always." I mumbled, looking down at my lap.

" I can change that." I looked up at Perrie, and she was smirking.

" Perrie, don't." I said, because I knew what she was thinking.

Perrie pouted.

" Why not?" I chuckled.

" Because, I said so." Perrie rolled her eyes.

" Whatever." I heard Perrie mumble under her breath.

" Are you mad?" Perrie chuckled.

" Of course not! I could never, ever, be mad at you."

" But you already have." I mumbled, my voice barely audible.

" Excuse me..?" I shook my head.

" Nothing." I said quickly.

" Okay then. Anyway, my mum said that it's okay for you to stay here, she doesn't mind. But, she said that you should call your mum soon-"

" But, Pez-"

" And if you don't, then my mum will call your mum herself. Your choice, Jadey." Perrie said, cutting me off.

" Wait, you told your mum everything?" Perrie nodded.

" But don't worry, you'll be fine. Just, call your mum, please?" I shrugged, biting my lip.

" I know she still hates me." I said, shaking my head.

" Babe, she doesn't hate you-"

" Yes she does! She's still mad because I cut myself, and because I ran away! She hates me, Perrie! My own mother hates me!" I yelled, tears starting to roll down my cheeks.

" Aww, Jadey," Perrie said, pulling me into a hug.

I cried into her shoulder while gripping onto her shirt.

" Shh, babe, it's going to be okay." Perrie whispered, stroking my hair.

I nodded my head a little, slowly pulling away from the hug.

" Thank you, Perrie."

" No need to thank me. Now, do you want me to sort things out with your mum?" I nodded, smiling a little.

" Alright. I'll be back soon, love." Perrie leant down and kissed my cheek.

" I love you." I smiled.

" I love you too." I said, pecking her lips.

Perrie's POV

I took a deep breath, and knocked.

I bit my lip nervously.

I was so nervous, and scared, but I knew that this had to be done somehow.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I saw the door open.

She had a smile on her face, but when she saw that it was me, her smile quickly faded. And she looked at me in disgust.

" Ugh, what are you doing here?"

" Look, I'm just here to talk about-" Before I could finish my sentence, she slammed the door in my face.

" Guess she's not in the mood to talk." I mumbled to myself before walking back to my place.

" Did you talk to her?" Jade asked.

" Um, kind of." I answered, sitting down next to Jade.

" What happened?" I sighed.

" Well, I tried to answer her question, but then she slammed the door in my face!"

" Perrie, calm down!" I sighed.

" You're right, Jadey. But, how are we gonna speak with your mum?" Jade shrugged.

" Guess the only option is for your mum to speak with mine." Jade said.

I nodded.

" Okay then, I'll go get my mum." I said, kissing Jade's cheek before walking out.
