Chapter 21

Jade's POV

I jumped up from the couch. 

" M-Mum, what are you doing here?" I stuttered. 

" I live here." 

" I-I know. But I thought that you weren't gonna be home until tonight?" 

" Plans change. Now, can i have a talk with you in the kitchen?" 

I looked at Perrie, then back at my mum. 

I crossed my arms. 

" No." 

" Excuse me?" 

" I said no." 

She walked closer to me. 

" Jade, go in the kitchen. Now." 

" No. I'm not leaving Perrie." 

" Well, i'm sure your little friend wont mind you being gone for a few minutes, right?" 

She asks while looking at Perrie. 

" Um, I have to go." Perrie stood up. 

I put my hand on her shoulder and stopped her. 

" Perrie, please stay. I might need your help." She sighed. 

" Ok." 

" If you're going to talk to me, then Perrie's coming too." 

" Fine. I need to have a talk with your friend anyway. Now let's go." 

She walked into the kitchen. 

I grabbed Perrie's hand and we followed her into the kitchen. 

" You," She pointed at Perrie. 

" Sit down." 

I let go of Perrie's hand and she sat down. 

" Now, I think we need to talk." 

" About what?" 

" About you kissing your friend in MY house." 

" Ok, first of all, Perrie's not my friend, she's my girlfriend. And second of all, this isn't just your house. It's my house just as it is yours." i snapped back. 

" You do not talk to me like that! I am your mother!" 

" I can talk to you how I want to." 

" Whatever. The point is, you are not allowed to see her ever again!" 

" What?!" 

" You heard me." 

" Why?!" 

" Because i don't want you to be like this!" 

" Like what?!" 

" How you are. You told me that you didn't like girls, but now I come in here and see you kissing one?! It's not right, Jade!" 

" I don't care if it's not right! I love Perrie and that's all that matters! You can't control my life!" 

" Maybe you love her, but does she love you?" 

" Yes!" 

" How do you know?" 

" Because she told me!" 

" Oh really? So, you love her, right?" She asks, looking at Perrie. 

" Yes, I do." Perrie smiled. 

" Prove it." 

" Excuse me?" Perrie asks. 

" Prove to me that you love her. If you do that, then I might let you and Jade be." 

" Fine." 

Perrie stood up and walked towards me.

She cupped my face with her hands and pulled me into a passionate kiss. 

The kiss was full of love and passion. Just how I liked it. 

She pulled away and we stared into each others' eyes. 

Perrie looked at my mum. 

" Proved." I chuckled. 

" Jade, do you love her?" 

" Yes! I've been trying to tell you that!" 

" Jade, I don't wanna fight with you. You're right. I can't control your life. And if you're happy with Perrie, then i'm happy too. I'm sorry I shouldn't have acted like that. I was just shocked and I let my emotions get the best of me. I'm sorry." 

I smiled and pulled my mum into a hug. 

" I love you mum." 

" I love you too sweetie." 

I pulled away and turned around and looked at Perrie. 

" Mum, don't you have something to say to Perrie?" 

" Yes." She walked over to Perrie. 

" I'm sorry Perrie." 

" It's ok Ms. Thirlwall." 

" I know you love Jade, but if you break her heart, then i'll break you. Got it?" 

" Yes, just don't hurt me!" 

" I won't. I'm happy for you girls." 

" Thank you." I say. 

" No worries. I shouldn't have been mad in the first place." 

" Why?" I ask. 

" Because you know what they say, love is love, right?" 

" Yeah." I say and I pulled Perrie into a tight hug. 

" Mum, can Perrie stay?" 

" Sure. I'll just take you girls to school in the morning." 

" Ok." 

I grabbed Perrie's hand. 

" Let's go." I say and we walked upstairs to my room.
