Chapter 31

Perrie's POV

I plopped down on my bed and sighed. I'm so confused. After I didn't answer Jade, she told me to leave. So, does that mean that we're breaking up or what? I'm not really sure what that means yet, but what I do know, is that she hates me right now.

Still Perrie's POV

I grabbed my breakfast and sat down at the table, while my mum sat across from me. While I was eating, I could feel her eyes on me for who knows how long. After a few minutes, I finally looked up at her. 

" What?" I snap at her. She looked at me shocked. 

" What is wrong with you, Perrie?" I looked at her confused. 

" What do you mean?" I lied. I knew exactly what she meant. 

" Did something happen last night, that I don't know about?" I shook my head. 

" No," I looked down at the floor. 

" Everything's fine." 

" Perrie, look at me." I slowly lifted my head up, and looked at her. 

" I know something's bothering you," She placed her hand on top of my hand. 

" And I can help you, if you tell me." I shook my head quickly, and moved my hand away. I grabbed my bag, and put it around my shoulder. I stood up and walked towards the door, my mum slowly following. I was about to open the door, but my mum grabbed my wrist, and turned me around to face her. She held my wrist so I wouldn't move. 

" Where do you think your going?!" I rolled my eyes. 

" To school. Where else would I go?" 

" No, put your bookbag down. You're not going to school today." 

" What?!" 

" Don't yell at me! Now put your stuff down!" 

" No! Ok, I need to go to school!" 

" Why?" I jerked my wrist out of her grip. 

" I need to fix things." I mumbled, before opening the door, and running to school.

Still Perrie's POV

When I got to school, I saw no one in the hallway which meant only one thing....... I was late. Ugh! If only my mum would've just let me leave earlier without asking me all those stupid questions! 

I walked past my locker, and went straight to my first period. Which i have with Jade. That's just great.

" Perrie, umm, why are you late?" The teacher asks, right when I walked through the door. 

" It's my mums' fault." I answered, walking over to my seat. 

" Well, don't be late again, please. Ok?" I nodded, and sat next to Jade, who completely looked away from me when I sat down. 

I sighed and looked at Zayn, who was sitting across from me. He was smirking. 

I looked behind me, then back at him. 

" What are you looking at?" He chuckled. 

" You." I sighed. 

" Well, can you stop? It's really annoying." 

" Whatever. So, how are things with you and Jade?" 

I opened my mouth to answer, but Zayn just started cracking up. I chuckled. 

" W-What's so funny?" I asked. 

" Oh, nothing." 

" Well, it's obviously something." 

" Ok, ok. It's just that I already knew what happened between you two." 

" What? How?" 

" Things spread fast, Edwards." 

" Whatever. Look, do you know why Jade's acting like this?" He nodded. 

" Yeah, a lot of people know about it." 

" Know about what?" 

" Sorry, can't tell you." 

" Zayn...." 

" I'm sorry! But hey, maybe you'll hear it from someone else." 

" Just tell me." just then, Jade quickly got up and walked out of class. 

Huh? That was weird. 

" I can't." 

" Can you at least give me a hint? Did she do something bad? C'mon Just tell me!" 

" No. Yes. And, i'll tell you later." 

" Alright, class dismissed!" 

Zayn shrugged, and walked out the door. 

What has Jade done?
