It was 7 O'clock and Bellamy was making his way to Clarke's cabin. He was wearing black trousers, a white fitted shirt and a dark navy tie. It was quite a hot evening so he didn't feel like wearing a jacket.

Bellamy walked up the steps to Clarke's cabin and knocked on the door.

A few moments later Octavia opened it.

"Hi O, " he greeted.

"Do you have to threaten everyone that is interested in me?" she got straight to the point.

"O, I just care about you and wanted to make sure that Lincoln did to," he explained.

Clarke appeared behind Octavia.

"Hey, princess, you ready?" he smiled at her.

"Yep, let's go," Clarke took Bellamy's arm and they walked towards the disco.

Clarke and Bellamy had walked half the way there in silence, why was this so awkward?

Bellamy looked towards the car park at the sound of a car driving in. It stopped and out got Emori.

"Yes," Bellamy said aloud.

"What is it?" Clarke asked looking at the car park as well, "who's that girl?"

"That's Emori, she lives across the road from here and I'm 99% certain that Murphy has a thing for her, so I invited her along," Bellamy explained.

"You really did all that for Murphy?" Clarke asked surprised, this guy seemed to be getting better and better.

"Yeah well, he was never going to do anything so I gave them a little helping hand," Bellamy looked at Clarke.

She smiled as her heart throbbed, was it normal to feel so many emotions towards a person? Bellamy made Clarke feel so happy, he was kind and caring, always thinking of other people first.

Emori walked in the direction of the music and eventually she came across the dance floor. Once there she scanned around for Murphy, she hardly knew anyone else.

After a few minutes she had finally located him. He was talking to who she thought was Miller at the drinks table.

Emori walked over and greeted Murphy.

"Hi Murphy."

"Emori, hi," Murphy replied a little startled and he set down his drink.

"Oh Miller this is Emori," Murphy introduced.

"Hi," they both said in unison.

"So how did you hear about the disco?" Murphy asked.

"You're friend Bellamy invited me," she told him.

"Of course he did," Murphy said aloud to himself, a little frustrated.

"Is that okay?" she asked, sensing something was wrong.

"Yeah that's fine," Murphy assured her, "do you wanna dance?"

Emori nodded and the two of them walked further onto the dance floor and joined in with the fast pace dancing.
