Chapter 4

"SHE'S NOT AFARID OF ALL THE ATTENTION! SHE'S NOT AFARID OF RUNNING WILD" filled the sound of my room at the early hours of 7:30am

It took me a while to wake up but I eventually arose from the bed and made my way to the bathroom. I had a quick shower. I put on my new school uniform which kinda made me feel cool and kinda like a dork

Reason it made me feel cool was that the uniform was kind of the same as the one in Home and Away for Summer Bay high school and the reason being a dork I don't ever wear dresses only skirts, and I only wear them when I'm going out.

I put my long thin brown hair into two plaits at either side of my head. I put on a bit of mascara and put on my favourite lip bam, Fanta orange lip smacker, and slipped into my bag. I grabbed my keys and phone walking out of my room.

I was greeted in the kitchen by my parents all smiles like it was my first day of school altogether. "You'd swear I was starting primary school all over again with the way your looking at me" I say taking an apple from the fruit bowel. "It's only the first day of a new school!"

"I know but you just look so cute!!" Mum said squeezing my cheeks. "Mum what are you doing?" I laughed "anyways because I'm only child can I have some money to feed me at lunch cause the fridge is empty!! And I'm such a loveable girl" I smile at them batting my eyelids "fine! Here's 20 bucks" dad hands over the money "thank you" I kiss him and mum on the cheek and I set out for the park to meet the others

I arrive at the park but there's no sign of Jai, Luke or James. I make my way to the table we were at yesterday but I realise that there's a boy sitting there. As I get closer. I can't help but stare at him. I thought the three yesterday were good looking but nothing had prepared me for what I was looking at. He had brown hair with a little quiff. He was wearing the boys uniform of my school so this meant I would be seeing a lot more of him. Thing was he was with a girl and she was stunning, great, just my luck! Hot boy with stunning girlfriend.

I was leaning against the tree with one of my headphones in and the other out when I heard someone call my name, I turned around to see James walking towards me! "Hola" I say pulling the headphone out of my ear and wrapping them around my phone "where's Luke and Jai?" I ask

"They'll be here in a minute! Come over here and meet Skip and Megan" He says taking my hand and walking over to the table

"Sup cunt?" Megan spoke first "hey this is Kate she's moved here from England" James answered her back

"Hey!" I say shyly waving at them both

"Hi!! Well I'm Megan and this is my brother Skip" she says pointing to the guy I was staring at. Brother! Well now I like the sound of that, hopefully he doesn't have a girlfriend anyway

"Or some people call me Daniel" he smiled at me with a wink. I was trying so hard not to die right there and then. "So what part of England are you from?" Daniel asked me making room and the seat between him and Megan. "Liverpool!"

"So soccer fan then?" He looked at me "completely, kind of in my blood I guess!" Before I could say anymore Jai and Luke arrived. "Hey sluts!" Jai said

"come on let's go, we don't want Kate being late on her first day now do we?" Megan says jumping off the table.

The way to school wasn't that long along the way I talked to Jai and Daniel about soccer and life in Liverpool. When we got to the school Jai offered to bring me to the offices and wait for me to get my timetable

When I came out Jai grabbed my time table out of my hands "right so M5 English with Ms Scott. So your with Skip first class. Come on ill show you where to go!" He handed me back my timetable and let me down the corridor. Just before we got to the classroom Jai turned to me and said "good luck I'm sure you'll be fine Skips got a seat for you inside" with that he gave me a peck on the cheek and left.

I stood there for a minute or two. Right it's now or never, here it goes!
