Chapter 37

Beau's POV

"What time is it? Why are they not here yet? What time is it again?" Luke said pacing up and down in my room "dude calm down, you know what the traffic is like at this time in LA, and plus you know Kate and Jai, they probably made Jacob stop for food" I look up from my phone and watch him check his phone "no text no nothing!" He says "what if that Shane guy came and got her again?" He turns with a worried expression "Jai's there it's fine" before I could say anymore James burst through the door "THEY'RE HERE THEY'RE HERE!" He shouts and runs out of the room again and down the stairs, Luke's mood changed within those two seconds, he quickly followed James down the stairs. I followed behind.

Outside James had Jenni in his arms and Luke had Megan in his, each giving their girls a kiss telling them how much they missed them. Jai, Jacob and Ronnie were getting the bags out the car while Kate stood there munching on curly fries from McDonalds "made Jacob stop then?" I ask walking towards her "aeroplane food is crappy! Can you blame me!" Kate smiled up at me "gives a hug girl" I pull her in "hey bro alright?" Jai asks as he walks towards us "ya you? How's mum and family?" I ask giving him a hug "ya their good, mum wants to come visit soon!" Jai steps back from the hug and moves to Luke and James "Where's Skip?" Jenni asks as she makes her way over to me "where else would Skip be?" James looks at us all "seriously the boy is still asleep? How does he manage!" Megan asks "it's your brother, you tell us?" Luke laughs pulling her close "That bonehead better walk up, I wanna play soccer!" Kate says finishing off her food. We brought all the bags back into the house and should everyone where they would be staying. We were all sitting around in the kitchen when Skip decided to walk up and join us "Look who's finally awake!" I say looking over at him. He stuck his middle finger up at me "hey guys! Sorry I was up till like 4am talking to fans, gives a hug!" He say walking towards the others "Kate! Soccer later?" He asks as he walks to the cupboard and takes down a cup. "Sure why not now, for some reason Im not feeling that jet lagged right now" She smiles up at him "cool, just let me get changed" Skip says as he runs back up the stairs to his room. "I'll be back" I smile at the other. By now we all knew that Daniel had a massive crush on Kate. He was always excited when they would hang out, or when she would text him. "Hey bro" I say walking into his room "oh hey Beau, what's up?" He looks at me as he puts on his Arsenal jersey "you know Kate is with Jai right, and that Jai is my brother?" I tell him as I sit on his bed "Ya, what you getting at dude?"

"I'm just saying don't say anything about the whole Cassie loving Jai and all that, they've had enough trouble already without adding this to the mix, they came here to escape their troubles" I explain, he wanted to tell both Kate and Jai, at first it did seem like a good idea but then with what happened recently I don't think adding this to their problems was going to help "ya maybe your right bro thanks" and with that he left and went to get Kate. I arrived back in the kitchen "everything all right Beau?" Megan asked. I smile and nod "ya everything's fine!" She smiled back at me "see you guys later" Kate says as she gives Jai a kiss "love you babe, kick his ass" Jai calls behind her. And with that the were gone

Daniel's POV

"I leave you for a week and suddenly you loose all your ability to kick a ball in between two posts!" Kate teases as we walk back to the car. She had beaten me 4-1 in penalty shoot out. "Maybe I just let you win" I laugh putting the soccer ball in the back seat of the car. "Want to get some Starbucks?" I ask as I pull out of the parking space "Cool but looser buys" she looks at me and smiles. she so beautiful. I really just want to kiss her right now.

We arrive at Starbucks and I order for both of us. I take a seat down next to Kate, who's looking down at her a photo "come here" she looks up at me, I lean across the table "what are you doing?" I ask as I do so "putting a picture on Instagram. She took the picture and uploaded it. I went on to check what it said "@Kate_Rednapp: Thanks for the Starbucks @danielskip better luck next time looser #BestFriendsForLife #OneOfTheBest" If only she knew how I really felt about her maybe she wouldn't have said all that, what if I asked her out first and not Jai, would she be with me? Would me and her be here together in Starbucks as a couple? Would the post on Instagram have 'Love him' and 'Best Boyfriend' under it. So many questions. I just don't know any more. I can't help but think about how could we would be together "I love you" the words slip out of my mouth, before I could even stop them. Kate looks at me puzzled "You what?" She sort of laughs, I can tell she is slightly unsure how to react to what I've just said, but do I repeat myself, yet again the words fly out of my mouth uncontrollably "I love you" I take her hands in mine. "I can't stop thinking about you, ever since I first laid eyes on you, you've been on my mind" I look up at her. She's staring back me with a blank expression on her face, her eyes are glossed over from the tears she's trying so hard to fight back "Skip.... I........ But..... Jai...... I have to go..." With that she gets up and leaves. I run both my hands through my hair, I can't believe I just did that. Have I just ruined it with one of my best friends, my best friends girlfriend. Beau was right, shouldn't of said anything. This is all a mess. Maybe she won't say anything. I've got to fix this, I run out and down the same direction she went in. I spot her up ahead, I run as fast as I can to catch up to her but its no use, someone's grabbed her! There forcing her into the back of a car. "DANIEL!!! HELP!!!" She screams out to me, but this is only forcing the person to push her harder into the car. "IM COMING" I shout back but it's no use by the time I get up to them the car is pulled away. I take out my phone and take a picture of the licence plate, but it comes out blurry. The driver of the car looked like someone I know, but I didn't get a proper look because they pulled out to fast. Jai is going to kill me.........
