Chapter 8

Jai's POV
On the way to the park I couldn't stop thinking about what Beau said. I mean ya I did like Kate she was so sweet and easy to talk to. She was like us, she didn't give a fuck what anyone thought of her. I guess maybe I do like her, but I don't want to act on it right now cause she's just got here maybe in a few weeks. I reach the park and as I get closer I realise she's there. Fuck! She looks good. Okay so maybe I can act on it a little bit, or even make it clear to her without telling her.....

Kate's POV
I get the park before Jai so I sit at the bench and start listening to my music. I start strolling through Instagram news feed, liking everything and anything there like I always do.
I spot Jai a few feet away, I turn off my music and lock my phone placing it in my pocket. "Hey stranger" I say standing up. "Hey" he says placing a kiss on my cheek "you look amazing" he whispers into my ear. I bite down on my lip. I can feel myself blushing. "Shall we?" Jai asks holding out his hand. I smile and take hold. He's such a little cutie. On the way we talked about how my first day of school went and all the general stuff that wasn't asked yesterday I suppose. When we got to their house, Jai turned to me before we went in "just so you know this wouldn't be what I would do for our first date"
"This is a date?" I asked him "not a proper one anyways" and with that he lead me inside. We walked into the kitchen and the first thing we see is Daniel and Cassie playing tonsil tennis, great!! I had forgot about them being here. Jai coughed a little to make our presence know and they stop "alright?" Daniel asked me. "Ya fine you?" I smiled at him "Ya! Kate this Cassie. Cassie this Kate" she gave me a dirty look before replying "nice to meet you" she clearly doesn't like me anyway, wonder what her problem is?
"Kate you coming?" Jai called as I turned there was this extremely good looking guy standing in front of me. He had skater like hair, (you know the type with the long bit at the front and short at the back The type of hair that allowed Bieber to do his hair flick) with the most amazing pair of green eyes I have ever seen "oh so your Kate? I'm Beau, Luke and Jai's older and better looking brother!" He winked at me. "Ya umh Hey!!" i could feel my face turning a shade of red. Why are all the boys so good looking here....
I followed Jai into the living room were James, Luke and Megan were sitting. Jai sat on the floor so sat next to him "hey Kate" they all greeted me as I made myself comfortable on the floor "hello peeps" I smile up at them "so what we gonna do?" James asked looking down at his phone "movie or FIFA?" Luke suggested "FIFA defiantly" I said with the biggest smile on my face "you like FIFA?" Jai asked "I'm the champion!" He said "you don't know a champion till you've played me my friend!!" I pat his head "oh that sounds like a challenge to me Jai" Megan tells him. "Your on!" Jai ran off to get the game and the playstation.
"You are a brave girl!" Beau says as he makes his way over to the couch followed by Daniel and Cassie. "Ya I agree" Daniel says "why is he really that good or is he a bad looser?" I ask them "take it this way Kate. We played the other day and I was winning 1-0 and he turned it off" James explains. "You sure you want to do this? You can back out" Jai says "I'm sure!! lets do this!"

{20 mins}
"Boom! You loose!!" I chant to Jai smiling at him "I told you I'm the champion" I had beaten Jai, Liverpool 7 Tottenham 1, I look around the room and everyone is looking at me with their mouths wide open!! "Teach me your ways" Beau blurts out. I can't help but laugh. "Rematch!! I let you win!!" Jai speaks up. "Oh so you 'let me win' did you?" I say still laughing. And with that Jai restarted the whole came. This gave me the prefect opportunity to better my score, and I didn't disappoint myself. Liverpool 9 Tottenham 2. "Who's next?" I turn around to the other. But before I know it Jai's unhooked the playstation and took it back to his room "guess no one is" Daniel says. I laugh which was probably not a good idea cause if looks could kill the look Cassie was giving me would have killed me right there and then. "I'm going to find him" I say getting up from the floor "which way?"
"Upstairs first door on the right, the mess is Jai's not mine!" Luke tells me. I made my way to their room, the door was open slightly but I knocked to be nice cause we don't know each other all that long "Come in" he called. When I walked in nothing had prepared me for what I was about to see......
