Chapter 38
Daniels POV
I wake up in a panic, my heart is pounding, sweat is running down my forehead. I feel slightly dizzy and dehydrated. I get out of my bed and make my way to the kitchen. I grab a glass of water and gulp it down. I hear footsteps behind me "hey" the voice whispers "can't sleep either" i just shake my head "Think jet lagged has arrived now!" She tells me. "are you alright Skip? You haven't been yourself since we left Starbucks this afternoon?" She asks as she takes a seat at the counter "ya why wouldn't I be?" I ask her taking the seat next to her "oh I don't know just thought something was on your mind? You know I'm here if you ever need to talk right?" She smiles at me, putting her hand over my shoulder. I smile and nod "thanks! You know I'm here for you too" I take hold of her hand "dude, why is your hand all sweaty!!" She looks at me laughing before pulling it away and wiping it off my boxers "bad dream" I look at her "do tell! I seriously doubt I'm getting much sleep and Jai's already asleep so" she looks up at me. "I had a dream that you were...." I take a deep breath "kidnapped again" she looks at me "wow! Who was it?" Kate asks me, her voice uneasy "I don't know, didn't get a look at their face! That doesn't mean it's going to happen! We're all here to protect you plus your out of Australia so there's no way they know where you are" I reassure her "Skip he didnt know I moved to Australia in the first place, he found away. I broke up with the week before and then left, no mention what's so ever of where I was going and he found me! What if he finds me now I know you guys are here for me but Jai and Beau both knew last time and still" Tears run down her prefect face, I pull her closer to me "shhh, it's fine, were here for you I'm here for you" I whisper to calmly. I place a kiss on the top of her head. "I feel like I've done nothing but cry in front of you guys, sorry" she laughs wiping her eyes. "I'm going to sit by the pool, sit with me?" She asks getting up from the chair and walking to the back door. "Sure" I follow behind her.

Kate's POV
I really more worried about everything now. Now that Daniel had a dream about me being kidnapped. Henry found me the first time what's stopping him finding me this time. I feel that ill be safe if I don't leave the house, I feel safe here. I feel that he won't find me here if he is out there. Maybe ill feel safer if someone knows that I'm as scared as I am. That way I might be able to bare outside of this house. I know that person should be Jai but I think seeming Daniel had that dream maybe he should know exactly how I feel. "Daniel, I really need to know that before leaving home and coming here or even coming home from hospital, being in hospital was the safest I ever felt! There I knew Henry wouldn't get me because he knew police would be in to question me, he knew Jai would be with me at all times. He knew you guys and my family would be with me so he wasn't going to risk anything coming to take me. Leaving that hospital was one of the most scariest things I've done. He clearly knows my address. So it terrified me that he would come at some point having Jai there was a bit helpful but know I'm here and being out with you today was slightly scary but I felt safe with you there. But now what do I do if Megan and Jenni want to go shopping or anything, I can't avoid it and not go and I can't have Jai with us all the time cause he's going to be doing what ever you guys are doing!" I look at Daniel who's looking at me like a lost puppy, I can tell that he has no idea what to day right now. I know I can trust with all this. I know he's not going to judge over anything I say or do. "Have you told all of this to Jai?" He finally speaks. I shake my head, before putting it in my hands. "I don't want to ruin Jai's time here. We just got here. He's been so excited to be going away with me and catching up with Ronnie and Jacob that I can't tell him this. It will just upset too much. Your the one I can trust with all this Daniel. I just need you to promise me you won't say anything to Jai!" I look at him pleadingly. "Ok but you have to tell him at some point. You can't keep him in the dark" Daniel hugs him tightly "thank you!" I kiss his check and we just sit and watch the stars "I'm glad I have a friend like you Skip, I really am" I lean my head against his shoulder.

Jai's POV
I wake up and check my phone for the time, I adjust my eyes to the sudden brightness in my eyes before reading 5:03am I put the phone back down on the beside table before I roll over to check if Kate was still sleeping or wide awake, but to my surprise she wasn't there. Maybe she's in the bathroom I thought to myself. I waited for a while but still no sign of Kate. I got out of the bed and made my way to the ensuite that was in my room "babe, you in there?" I called but know answer. Maybe she went down stairs. As I'm making my way down the stairs, Daniel is making his was up "hey Skip, have you seen Kate?" I ask him "ya she's asleep on the couch" he says as he walked past me "why is she asleep on the couch?" I question him "we both couldn't sleep so we were talking we say outside and she got cold so we moved back in and sat on the couch and she just feel asleep there" he smiled at me "thanks bro" I tell him "for what" he looked confused "having her back, I know how close you guys are and I know she really looks to you like the big brother type of guy that's always there for her, it means a lot to both of us so thanks" and with that I continue my walk towards Kate. Daniel had covered her in a blanket, her head resting on a pile of jumpers as a pillow. I slide my body in behind hers trying not to wake her, I run my fingers through her long thin brown hair, I place a kiss on her check. Her eyes flutter open "hey" her voice raspy "sorry sweetie, I didn't mean to wake you" I kiss her once again "its fine, stay with me?" She looks up at me "of course" I place my lips to hers "I love you" she whispers to me "I love you too"
