Chapter 18

Luke's POV

Megan and I have been watching movies all morning. It's about half 3 now. I look down at Megan who is asleep, she looks so peaceful I didn't want to wake her. So I picked her up bridal style and put her up on my bed. I put on the blankets we were using on top of her. She was so beautiful. I'm so lucky I get to call her mine. Finally after all these years she's mine. Suddenly I heard voices downstairs snapping me out of my thoughts. Shit! What am I meant to do now. Footsteps are coming up the stairs. Please don't be the boys! Please don't be the boys! I beg to myself. "Luke, love you in there?" Mum calls. Thank god for that one. I open the door and step out.  "Hi mum" I smile at her closing the door quietly "Where's Megan?" She asks. Mum was the only one who knew Megan and I had a date today. I was too excited I couldn't keep it from anyone really so if I couldn't tell the boys. I told the most important woman in my life other than Megan and Nonna that is.  "Oh she feel asleep so I put her on my bed" I tell her "Oh how cute! Did she like your little gift"    "Ya she loved it"   "Hey Mum" Beau's voice filled the house. So much for escaping that one. "Mum! Can you please keep him and the boys downstairs while I try and clean up my room and wake Megan?" I ask giving the puppy dog eyes "Luke Brooks!! Have you not told your best friends and more importantly Megan's brother" She looks at me trying not to laugh "Mum this isn't funny! And no we haven't. We're trying to find the right time" I tell her.  "Well alright but only if you promise to tell them soon"    "Promise!" I head back into my room. I blew out the candles and moved them into Mum's room. I flung all the blankets under the bed, what else could I do in a time of panic.

It broke my heart to wake Megan but I had too "Babe?" I gently shook her. She let out a moan, "Babe, come on! Skip, James and Beau are downstairs you need to wake up, I'm so sorry!" I explain. "5 more minutes please Lukey?" She half opens her eyes and looks at me  "Megan? Luke? you in there?" It was Skip   "Shit!" Megan shot up and jumped off the bed. "Come in?" She called. The telly was still on but the screen was blue, maybe I could use this as an excuse "What are you guys doing?" Daniel asks coming into the room "We were playing Xbox" I lied switching off the telly   "Oh! How did your project go?"  He asks as we walked out of my room. "We've been playing since you dropped me, we got distracted!"  Megan tells him.  He seemed to buy it but then I think it's Skip and sometimes he has no clue what's going on, he just goes with it!

"Hey cunts!" James looks over at us "Hey" I smile and Megan does the same, who's looking at her phone. "Oh my god! Jai likes Kate!!" She shouts out   "What you that idea? Did he text you there to tell you? Or was it the whole hand holding and getting her to sit on his lap yesterday?" Beau asks her sarcastically. "No asswipe! The fact he tweeted your fans to be nice to cause he really likes her!" She snaps back smiling. "What?" All three boys shout at once. Daniel looks really upset but why he has Cassie....
