Chapter 33

James POV

I'm so nervous. I can't stand still. I knock on the door of Jenni's house and wait for her to answer. The door opens and there she stands all perfectly beautiful. She had on a multi coloured Aztec print skirt with a plain white string top. "Hey James" she smiled at me "hey, you look amazing" I take her hand and place it to my lips. This makes her giggle. "Ready to go?" I ask as I keep hold of her hand. "Ya, where we going?" She asked looking up at me "I was thinking maybe a walk along the beach and then back to mine? Nobody's at home so we can chill out watch a movies and get some food?" I look at her. "Sounds prefect" she smiled once again.

At the beach we walked for miles and talked about everything "James can I ask you something?" She stopped in her tracks and faced me "sure, you can ask me anything, any time any place. Ill always listen to you" I kiss her cheek "Do you think Kate and Megan hate me for what my brother and his friend did to them?" A year escapes her eye, I use my finger and wipe it away. "No of course not. How were you to know what was going on. Jai and Beau only found out about Henry the day before Kate and us boys met you so how would you have known" I tell her pulling her in for a hug, I pull her body in close to mine and gentle rock her back and forth. "But what about Jai? It's he's girlfriend and it happened at my party and it's Daniels little sister. My best friend!" She cries even more now, it's breaking my heart. I pick her up bridal style and walk towards the sand dunes we sit down, I'm still holding her close. "Shhh baby girl, it's fine. It's all going to be ok. I promise you, and if they don't forgive you, then you and I will make new friends. I really like you Jenni and I care about you a lot. I know it's only been a few days but honestly, it feels like months" I lean in to kiss her, my lips move with hers. It's like her lips were made for mine. I pull away and lean my forehead against hers. "Sorry, I just couldn't help myself any longer!" She smiles and without a word she presses her lips to mine and I move my lips in sync with hers. She pulls away and giggles "looks like we're even now" She says as she cuddles into me. "Wanna head away now?" I ask as I place a kiss on the top of her head. "Sure" she stands up and turns around to face me. We walk hand in hand to the shop and grab some take away. When we get to my house, Jenni keeps rubbing her arms. "You cold?" I ask as I slide my hands around her waist pulling her close to me. I brush all her hair to one side of her neck and kiss now the other very slowly. "No, ehm, I'm fine" she says I kiss along her jaw line and along the edge of her mouth. "Actually I am a bit chilly" she turns around and wraps her hands and my neck. "I'll get up a jumper then" I place my lips to hers lightly and walk to my room. I get my black vans hoodie and walk back to the living room where Jenni is still standing "here beautiful" I say as I hand her the jumper. "Thanks" she places it on over her head and boy does she look good in it. I sit down on the couch and pull her down with me. I pull her legs up so she's sitting on me side ways. She rests her head on my shoulder and I wrap one arm around her waist and use my free hand to rub up and down her leg. I pressed play on the DVD. Friends with Benefits was playing "this movie ok with you sweetie?" I ask her as I place a kiss on her check. She giggles and makes herself comfy on me "it's my favourite" She smiles. Soon enough the both of us fall fast asleep all cuddled up to each. Best date I've ever had
