Tell me, am I going crazy?

Zeke lifted his head from the manual he was reading. A woman had sat down at the bar next to him, and she looked tired.

Uh-huh.

Dark circles under her eyes made her tiredness more apparent under the low light. Her figure was slim, almost starved, and her face was narrow. She wore a loose t-shirt that looked like it fit at one point, but now drowning her. Her shorts were dirty and torn.

Tell me, have I lost my mind?

She looked terrible.

Uh-huh.

Zeke watched as the bartender handed her a shot of what looked like grape soda, then downed it in on head tilt. If he looked behind all the dirt and grime, he saw a pair of crystal blue eyes, snow white hair, and chocolate brown skin. Honestly, she was beautiful.

Am I just afraid of loving?

He sighed, turning back to his manual. What would she want with him? He wasn't anything special. Just a handyman for one of the most powerful conduits in the world. He turned back to her.

Or am I not the loving kind?

"My name is Tosha Cold, love." A strong Irish accent hit him first. He was taken aback by her boldness. It took him a minute to respond, and when he did, he sounded nervous, "Oh. N-Nice to m-meet you Tosha. I'm Zeke."

Kissing in the moonlight, movies on a late night, it's getting old.

Tosha turned to him, her dirty hair swaying behind her, "Nervous?" She smirked. Zeke was silent, unsure of how to respond. She chuckled after a moment of silence, "I just joking, lad." She reached over to give him a pat on the back. Her hand was so cold he could feel it through the layers of clothing he had on.

I've been there done that.

She held her hand out for him to shake, which he did so hesitantly. To his surprise, her hand was colder than a freezer. She was so cold she should be suffering from hypothermia.

Supposed to be hot, but it's just cold.

"Um... Why are your hands so cold?" Zeke asked when she pulled away. Tosha glanced down at her hands, then shrugged, "Don't know. I get a lot of complaints that my hands are cold, but I don't feel cold." She awkwardly rubbed her hands on her jean shorts.

Somebody wake me up, set fire to my soul.

Zeke smiled at the woman, "Well..." Tosha looked up, curious as to what he was going to say. "... I just have to say I don't mind it at all." Zeke said shyly. Tosha smiled, "Thanks. A lot of people call me a freak because of my cold hands."

To my soul, to my soul...

"No problem, doll. Now, how about we say I buy you a few shots and we head back to my place." Zeke said, leaning forward against the counter. Tosha raised a brow, "I don't drink. Drinking brings out a very bad side of me that I want to keep hidden." Zeke nodded, "Okay. Why won't we just jump up to my apartment? It's not that far and you look exhausted." "You're persistent, aren't 'cha? Fine. But we aren't doing anything once we get into your apartment. The only reason I'm doing this is because we're too far away from me home."

Because I can't do this anymore.

Zeke led the girl to his home, let her take a shower, and flop down on to his couch after an argument about who gets the bed. Her excuse was that she hates beds and wanted to sleep on the couch. Zeke didn't argue further, he could tell this girl was stubborn. Zeke flopped into his own bed and fell asleep.

Give me that can't sleep love.

Zeke woke up that morning to the smell of eggs in his home. He walked to the living room, where a freshly made plate of eggs sat. Next to that was a note. The note told him that Tosha woke up early and ran out, but made him breakfast as a thank you gift for letting her stay the night. Zeke laughed at her message at the bottom: 'P.S. I'm glad you didn't murder me in my sleep.' Zeke are the eggs gratefully, then went out on his day.

Give me that can't sleep love.

He found himself constantly thinking about her. Whether he was on job, or drinking a beer with Cole, or just sitting around staring blankly at the tv. The girl with the snow white hair invaded his thoughts, his dreams, his nightmares...

The kind I dream about all day.

Cole noticed first when he electrocuted himself while working on one of his most recent projects. Cole had asked him what was wrong. Zeke was honest. He liked Tosha. Cole told Zeke to find her again.

That kind that keeps me up all night.

Kuo and Nix noticed when he accidentally zoned out during a meeting. They told him that they would hunt her down together.

Give me that can't sleep love.

Plenty of sleepless nights. But they found her. Tosha Cold, the white haired girl that Zele had fallen for. She stood next to the statue in the cemetery. Zeke slowly approached her, but stopped when Tosha rose her arm. Ice shot out from the snowy ground and covered the dress of the angel. Tosha kneeled down and sighed. Zeke took a breath, then stepped forward, "Tosha?"

Yeah.

Zeke pulled Tosha closer to him. Tonight was really warm, so he was glad to have the ice conduit next to him. She was cool, and that made him cool. Tosha chuckled, "I know what you're doing." "Really?" "Yeah. And I don't blame you. I'd do the same if I were you." "I love you, Tosha." "I love you too, Zeke." Said man traced his fingers on the baby bump Tosha wielded. "I want to name her Jupiter." "Don't be too hasty. It could be a boy." "It's a girl." Zeke smiled, then reached up to trace her cheeks as he hummed a song:

"Can't Sleep Love."
