Buzz. Buzz.

The phone on your dresser vibrated painfully loud.

You groaned as you rolled over to your side. Your head throbbed, and you wanted nothing more than to die. You didn't even open your eyes as you reached out to your dresser, hand searching for your phone. Your hand hit something, and you pushed it aside. It crashed to the floor with a thump.

Honestly, you were too tired to care.

Buzz. Buzz.

The vibrations didn't come from the dresser. You had knocked over your phone.

Buzz. Buzz.

Dammit.

You slowly peeked open your eyelids. The sunlight shining in your window made your eyes hurt. You groaned, squeezing them back shut. Your throbbing headache only grew worse.

You tried to open your eyes again, this time with a little more effort. The sun forced you to squint, and you couldn't help but release a loud sigh as you read the time on the clock.

Slowly, you motivated yourself to push yourself up to a sit. On the floor, you saw your phone. Quickly, you shot forward to get the electronic on the floor.

Big mistake.

You snatched the phone, recoiling as a surge of pain flew through your head. You winced at it's intensity. Shaking it off, you looked at the screen. The screen was still black. However, you could see a reflection of yourself in it. Your face was a mess. You looked like you had been thrown into a dumpster.

You checked the messages, and found it from the group of friends you had been going out with last night.

Electric Guy: Hey, you guys got slammed last night.

Repair Dude: Yeah, especially hotel girl.

You looked around. This wasn't your room. You had forgotten that you rented a hotel room for the night, because you couldn't make it to your home.

Lava Girl: Would you guys quit it?!

You grunted, responding to the text and flopping back down on your bed.

Hotel Girl: All of you just shut up, I'm trying to sleep.
