Another chapter here... I made sure to write this chapter despite the tight schedule and I hope it won't be anything far from your expectation. Do enjoy.
"I have seen only You, I have admired only You, I desire only You."
Napoleon BonaparteRichard's POV
This morning was not a total mess as Shawn won't stop questioning why I had a damn ray ban on and well Martin took his time to make some funny jokes. Nothing from the usual.
Julia kept smiling softly, sending few glances my way, I couldn't decipher what the quick glances meant because once I look her way, she directs her attention somewhere else.
But above all, it wasn't a bad idea after all as my looks still made some girls have the shrill. It totally paid off.
Yeah, I did get a nasty cut right above my dark circles, close to my left eyebrow. It has become my routine not to switch on the light when it is getting dark except maybe I want to read. Yesterday night wasn't an exception.
I was on phone and at the same time getting out of my cloth to lay down but I loosed balance and in the process of stabilizing myself, I ended up hitting my head against the wall which wasn't any better than falling and hitting my butt on the floor.
And now I have a messed up face.
I don't know if it was just me being carefree or it was by any chance the call. But it's all good since Dove got it treated already, claiming she has worked her wonders by plastering it and in no time, it will heal.
As if it would heal in two days.
The bell went off signify the start of today's activities. Everyone dispersed to their classes.
Julia and I went into Building B where we will be having our first lecture for the day.
In all honesty, History isn't the best to complement my looks and how I feel this morning. It is just not acceptable at all.
All the while, Julia kept quite and concentrated more on Mr Charlie, same as when we were heading for this same class.
Which I don't mind.
Half way through the class, Mr Charlie gave us an exercise to keep us busy for the next half hour that the class is supposed to end. We are to read the next five pages of our textbook from where he stopped and then write a short but full mark worthy summary which as to be submitted on Friday.
The way Julia keep looking at the textbook without writing anything gives away the fact that she can't seem to get anything.
"Why trouble yourself so much." I said.
"Shut up Richard," she flipped the pages loudly gaining few looks from the class which she manage to somehow shrug off and turned to glare at me.
"Hello," I waved two fingers in the air with a small smile. "I see you dreamt about me and now you can't think straight" I teased.
She blushed but quickly covered it with a smirk. "I like it that I keep your hopes up."
"Whooh! Damn right spunky," I smirked.
"I wonder why that cut hasn't deflate your ego."
"Ahh, I don't see that happening in a million years from now." I replied. "By the way, nice band."
"Hmm," she said before turning away. "Your deadline is lunch."
I smile. I like how this started. It's a pity I'm not freaked.
