Julia's POV

I tossed and turned on my bed, blinked my eyes open and yawned as the morning air hit me.

I smiled and got out of bed. The thought of yesterday's event flooded my mind.

After Richard dropped me off, he pecked my forehead and left before anyone could meet him. We are sticking to not letting anyone know what is going on.

I was smiling all through diner and everyone was wondering what happened. I knew they wanted to know what got me all smiles and shine but let it slip which was actually a great relief for me because even though I tried to pretend, I couldn't.

I slept like a baby after making a call with Richard while still trying to make myself believe we're a couple now before I slowly drifted off to sleep, thinking about that kiss we shared.

I didn't know how many times I touched my lips to feel it.

Everything felt like a dream. I never thought Richard felt something towards me. We were even.

And the second he kissed me in his room, gosh, everything started spinning in circles. Like I was on cloud nine.

I slipped out of bed and went into my bathroom to have a warm bath.

I got myself dressed in a white adidas top and a black leather black on a dark blue jean trouser with a black converse heel shoe, clipping my hair down to the left side of my face in wavy curls. I applied other ointments and a little lip gloss on my lips.

I rushed down stairs and met my grandma Jade in the kitchen already.

"Morning Granny," I said.

She looked up and smiled at me. "Morning my little girl. How was your night."

"The best," I replied, taking few gummy bears in my hand before popping them in my mouth.

"I see," I went to hug her. You know I tower over my grandma so I had to crouch a little for her to be able to peck me on the cheeks. Van joined us in the kitchen.

"Morning Van," I greeted.

"Morning Miss," she smiled and I rolled my eyes.

They know I hate being addressed like that but I have no power to change that.

"You look beautiful today my darling. I see you are ready for school." My grandpa, Patrick appeared in the kitchen and pecked me before engulfing my grandma in a big hug.

"Morning love," he pecked her on the lips and I cooed.

Ever since the incident with mum, Jade would always join the maids in the kitchen to cook while my maternal grandmother, Sophia takes care of the garden while there hubby hang out.

The mansion has been full and buzzing these days with everyone being their normal selves and trying to worry less.

I escaped to the large dinning area to see the table packed full.

I exchanged greetings with Granny Sophia and Robert, Mum's parents and my brothers. Breakfast didn't take too long to finish as it was raisin cinnamon swirl loafs and what not.
