Richard's POV

Three weeks and five days later...

I'm at Julia's house, in front of six overprotective men, a healing mother with a reassuring smile and my girlfriend, the most beautiful girl I have ever come across.
We are in the big living room on this hot Thursday afternoon because Julia has somehow convinced her parents about me, us being together yesterday and my presence was needed today before we go off to my house.

She had let me on on how her two oldest brothers and her Dad's reactions were when she informed them yesterday. No need to ask because you know it already. They are the set of people I'm mostly scared of when it comes to Julia.

So.

I know you are not confused but a quick overview of the past weeks would definitely let you on on what's happening right now.

With endless reports on the status of the all times Multi billionaires wife's health, Mrs Lucia Smith by popular and famous news channels, you could say the past weeks were quite some weeks.

I remember one of the news channels, NY Times Square, mentioned a case about the only daughter of the household without any more details and Julia had grumbled about how much she hated paparazzi a day after that news.

But that's not the case now.

After the success of Mrs Smith's surgery two weeks ago, Julia wanted to let everyone know we are dating but I wouldn't because it doesn't feel proper. So I had managed to persuade her into letting us wait for at least a week more.

It wasn't easy on our paths especially for me. I don't want her family seeing me as an opportunist. Announcing our status right after the surgery only depicts me as irrational... Well to me, that's how I feel.

And I despise being tagged irrational.

If I waited for two full weeks after we started our relationship, it won't hurt to wait a week or more.

There's nothing I won't do for her.

Mrs Smith said she wants to be taken home, there, she can get home treatment and fully recuperate around her family which explains why she is home and much healthier.

I can't explain how relieved Julia was when the surgery was announced successful and both her mother and brother were alive.

It was a relief for me too, cause I can't imagine what would have happened to her if it was the other way round.

Julia gained her smiles back over time, and I am planning to see more of those.

Now to the point.

About me and Julia being a couple somehow I informed Julius. Yes, I know we kind of said to keep it secret but I couldn't. He is my girls other half and I think he should know as much as he can. It is not the best feeling to know your other half is keeping a big part of herself from you, but he understood.

None of the guys except for him are aware though I'm sure they probably have their guesses.

But really, telling him paid off real well, though he threatened me and damn, I was actually scared of him for those passing minutes we had the conversation and trust me, those threats rang in my ears for two days straight.
