I just came across this song and it's a bang... I love the lyrics. (Heartbeat by Carrie Underwood)

"Love under the stars...  They seem very far, but you're so close. The star I love most."

Richard's POV

Shawn showed up at my doorstep some minutes back and we've been talking about my date. I'm just freaking out which is a trait that I rarely exhibit but I guess Julia can bring out this trait in me.

Sometimes, I feel like I'm dreaming especially when it comes to Julia. How we unconsciously grew closer and closer and now it is getting deeper.

I wasn't expecting it, but Julia got me big on this one. She confessed and told me how she feels about me, which was really good because in that moment, I can't tell how many beats my heart made, it was thumping widely.

I've waited this whole time for tonight.

I know I kind of dodge the whole confession thing, I just didn't want to say it right there because I actually planned on telling her this tonight, have a good time talking and laughing to the weirdest things ever.

"Why are you smiling like a five year old?" Shawn asked. We are in the kitchen, he is seated on the counter sipping coke while I cook.

I smirked at him. "She confessed first," I replied. "And I'm not smiling like a five year old." I jabbed him on the sides.

Shawn stopped sipping his coke for a second just to look at me, what? "Does it matter who confesses first?"

Absolutely not.

I punched him lightly. "I wasn't complaining, idiot." He grit his teeth and drank his coke anyway. I inhaled. "Although I wanted it to be me first but she was ahead of me and it's good." I smiled, dishing the meal.

He scoffed at me. "I think you're been rewarded for deciding to hold back from telling her first."

"Whatever man," I flicked him the finger and pushed him out of the kitchen.

"But I'm so nervous," I yelled, walking back to the kitchen. "For screaming archangels, I'm not proposing to her."

Really smooth, idiot. I nod more to myself.

Shawn gave me a weird smirk. "Real mature, huh?" I rolled my tongue in my mouth and groaned. "It's just a dinner date, calm your nerves man." Shawn yelled from the living room. "And I had love pasta, thank you."

"Dramatic jerk," I murmured.

"I heard that." He yelled.

"Just shut up," I yelled back. "Hey guys, come down. Food is ready," I said to Dove and Leo, walking back to the living room. "Shouldn't you be with Becky?"

"She's with Julia, thanks to you. They are to dress her up." I laughed, landing myself on the couch and dumping a plate of pasta on his legs. "Can't she dress herself?" I shook my head dramatically. It is never done. "Girls can be weird."

"That they are." I said, Leo coming down the stairs with a spec and a wig on. "Dude! Is that a ball in your stomach?" I laughed.

"Call me Professor Leonard Marcus Adams, the first." He said in a slightly deep voice, rubbing his palms on his fake belly. Shawn and I doubled over.

"Can somebody tell me what the heck went wrong?" I asked Dove who also now is laughing.

"There was this professor at school today," Dove started. "He has a weird way of introducing himself, five names, and he is the sixth."
