I sat in front of my laptop, watching yet another season of Sherlock for about the sixth hour in a row. Most people would think that this is totally irrational, but it, in fact, is not. People say do what makes you happy and that was exactly what I was doing.
It had been exactly a week and a half since I last posted my video, and my butt was starting to get numb, so I figured I'd better start on a new upload. After standing and stretching for a few minutes, I grabbed my laptop off my desk and scrolled through every alert I had. They were all basically Tumblr and Twitter, the usual jazz. The further down I got, though, the weirder the comments became. Most of them were from two to four hours ago, and they said things that seemed rude and almost angry. People were asking why I said "that", whatever "that" was, and they weren't happy about it. I figured it was best to check twitter and see what was happening.
Looking at my account, I saw what had been happening. There we these weird, obnoxious tweets on my profile that I never would've said. One of which said that self harmers deserve to die, and another one showing hate towards African Americans. A ton of people were offended by these, and actually thought it was me who said them.
The first thing that crossed my mind was my friends, still playing that cruel trick on me. Full of rage, I took to Twitter and in my 140 characters and put them to use. The tweet, which seemed as if I was in a calm state of mind clearly stated that I love everyone and no one should hurt themselves; that my friends hacked me as a joke. I prayed and hoped that everyone would believe my story as much as I did. The last thing I wanted was a bad rep, because those things stick for life.
Suddenly, my phone beeped with an alert. it was a text from my mate. He said that he swore he didn't post those tweets and neither did Jim.
In the next ten minutes all my friends were contacting me, pleading their innocence. I told them all that it was okay if they did, but they should know revenge was needed, yet none of them confessed. I didn't think for a minute that this wasn't one of them, because my password was not guessable to anyone except people who know me.
I choose to calm down and speak to Jessica, hoping she would know how to relax my nerves. I told her what had happened, and what my mates had said. She assured me it most likely wouldn't happen again, and I started to calm. Twenty minutes later, she started acting like a completely different person. It scared me a bit but I let it go; it could have been MPD (Multiple personality Disorder) and I didn't want to upset the other half, so I continued telling her everything, and she got to know me a little more. I even learned a few new things about her.
During our conversation, I got a tweet; it stood out. It was from a user with the same name as the YouTube user a while back. The tweet stated two words: "I win."
