"Up! Up! Up!" a deep voice boomed, slapping head boards as he walked past the beds. I opened my eyes, blinking, as the sunlight flooded in through the newly opened curtains. I stretched my hands above my head and yawned, flipping onto my back. "Why do ya have to be so harsh, mate?" I asked, blinking towards our new in-charge officier, Greg. He basically used to be in the military and yea, forgte that he was no longer fighting in a war but a small town stalking and captive incident.

I was rwlly the only one in this group that could somewhat talk bac to Greg, and even ask a question. I'm not sure why this was, maybe because I wasn't anything near a certified cop so it would make sense if I didn't understand why things happened, or I was younger than everyone else or I was the one who was getting put through complete hell because of what had happened. Either way, this led to me askin all the questsions and fighting all the injustices that were placed upon us. "Alex," someone would say, "Go ask if they can happen." or "Go and tell him this isn't fair. I mean, look at it!" and then I'd go and do it, because all these people were helping me, and saving me from this incredibly dangerous criminal.

"You needa learn to rise when told, instead of lumbering after you wake up like a damn pansy." I sat up in my bed at Greg's words, looking around the room at everyone else who was now sitting on the edge of their beds or about to get their arse up before Greg took it into his own hands.

"I just don't think yelling and hitting things is the way to get that accomplished. It's not very, um, coming of a civilized person, nor is it pleasurable. i'm sure they would've gotten up faster without the threatening noise of wood against skin or booming orders at seven in the morning." I swung my legs over the side of the bed and pushed my feet to touch the floor, my hands at my sides. "That's all." I said, placing my hand in front of me, then got up.

"What you say, boy?" he called after me. I sped up my pace and shook my head, and ran into the bathroom, locking the door behind me. I leaned against it.

"I see why you said I should stay in the hospital," Jake said, scrubbing his hands under a thick stream of water in the sinks. He turned off the water and sook his hands, then grabbed a towel out of the basket.

"He still thinks he's in the military, I swear." I sid, thn walked over to the toilets. I closed the cubical door and locked it, listening to Jake speak from the outside.

"I'm debating on complaining of neck pains and going back to the hospital at this rate." I saw his feet turn andcross over each other under the door.

"You can't leave me here, no. You're the only one who's not from the WPP in this damn place." I fushed the toilet and unlocked the door, heading towards the sinks. I turned on the water and pulled my hands back, then swtiched the cooler water on and continued wetting my hands. "Everyone else took my advice, which is a good and bad thing. They're probably malnourished anyway and can't afford this freaking cheap place, and will get scared to hell by Greg. But that means I'm alone with the cops if you leave." I put soap on my hands and lathered, bubbles and foam seeping through my fingers and dripping into the snk.

"I won't leave here if I dont have to," he said, then placed a soft kiss on my cheek.

"Thanks, babe." He noded and stood up straight, then rubbed his hands together. He unlocked the bathroom door and left without another word. I dried my hands in the quiet room, muffled yelling coming back from the bunks. Greg really needed to tone himself down a bunch. I threw out my towel and left the bathroom, bracing myself for the worst.

No one was in the bunks. I slipped a binder on and left for the kitchen.

Everyone was at the table, hands folded on their empty plates. I lifted myself onto a stool next to Jake, then followed suit of everyone else: head up, hands folding on the center of plate. "Good, Alex. you should all be like him. He follows direction." I smiled a small smile and nodded.

"Thank you." I said, then went back to staring at John across the table, who was staing back at me, fear and annoyance in his eyes.

"For that, Alex gets his food first." I nodded and smiled again, not wanting to be repetetive with my worda around Greg. I unfolding my hands and jumped off the stool, then grabbed my plate, holding it straight at my waist and walked - not too slow nor too fast - towards the buffet table. I grabbed a tray and turned it, placing it on the bars and putting my plate on top, in the center. I got my food, then went back to the table. "Jake, you can start, and when he gets back, its you, Wilma." She nodded, but kept her composture.

"Everyone listen up, though." He said, staring at everyone before continuing. "We have a plan for t'day. All of you are going to get a partner and position. Two people are staying at Section 666, two are staying her, one is coming with me and patrolling the woods, two are going to the presinct and manning to the tips line, and two are going to the hospital to see if they have any evidence or the victiums have any info. You will also meet with interrogators and higher dectives, as well as a scetch artist. After your meal you come talk to me, and I'll out you with your partner and position. Iexpect alex first, since he got his food first, but that's just an expection. Got it?"

Everyone mumbled a "Yes." back to him.

"Got it?" he asked a little louder, waking everyone up.

"Yes!" everyone yelled in unison. Greg nodded.

"We will find this man," and with that, he left the room.

[A/N: Sorry I didn't update for a week, it's just so hard with what everyone plans for me. Exactly. Next week I'm going on vacation again, but for three days only. I leave Thursday, so that means that (if i do an update on Wednesday) it'll be the last until the next week. Okay? Okay.
