The day was finally over Kaiya and I met at our lockers cause they were pretty close together. Just as I was about to tell her about what happened this morning she didn't give me a chance. "OMG!! Did you hear about the party this weekend?!" I gave her a quizzical look. "What party?" I asked her. She gave me a 'no you didn't just ask that' look. I just shrugged my shoulders as we started to walk away from our lockers out to my car.

"The party that Jackson Ray is throwing!! DUHH!!" She yelled at me.

I looked around and saw some people staring, "Okay you don't need to shout geez," I hissed at her through clenched teeth and she gave me a look that said 'sorry.' I sort of forgot to describe Jackson earlier my bad I was flustered. Anyway he's like the god of the school with tan skin, but not too tan, and a body that can make any girl drool, even me. He plays football and soccer which is how he stays so fit. I don't know how he manages everything because according to the grapevine he has good grades as well, not only is he sexy but he's smart as well. I turned my attention to my friend who was snapping her fingers in my face I guess I drifted off thinking about him.

"Hello anybody home!! We're at your car you gonna open the doors?" She laughs at me.

"Oh sorry I was.... Never mind let's go," I say while unlocking the doors. I was about to get in when I had this feeling someone was staring at me and I looked over to see Jackson a little ways away and our eyes locked for a brief moment. I immediately started to blush and rushed in my car to get away from his piercing stare.

"Why are you blushing?!" Kaiya asked me while looking around. I just shrugged it off, "Its nothing lets just leave okay."

"Okay, now about this party," she changed the subject and I let out a sigh of relief to know she let it go. "We totally have to go and I won't take no for an answer!"

"You know how my parents are!" I told her. "They'd never go for that." I scoffed at her.

"Who said you had to tell them the truth?"

"I've never lied to my parents I'm not about to start now," I shook my head at her.

She skeptically looked at me, "Oh come on!" She said. "Live a little!!"

I thought about what she said for a little bit and said, "Okay why not? What's the worst that can happen?"

She started to scream at the top of her lungs and I flinched. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She yelled while she reached over to give me the biggest hug ever without disrupting my driving. I just laughed at her because I have the craziest and best friend in the world.

"What am I going to tell my parents though?" I asked her and that was when her face dropped a little.

"Girl I don't even know what I'm telling my parents I'm just so excited for the party!" She sighed.

"Well we have to tell them something," after I finished what I was saying I pulled up to her house and she opened the car door.

"Okay but let's not stress it now we have all week to come up with something for now let's just enjoy the fact were going to Jackson Avery Ray's party!" Then she screamed at the top of her lungs again.

I laughed at her. "Ughhh get out my car with all that screaming!" She just stuck her tongue out at me and made her way to her front door before she walked in she turned and waved at me. I waved back to her then drove off to make my way home.

I walked through the door but no one was home I guess my parents were still at work. My dad is a lawyer while my mom is a doctor hence the nice car they bought for me after I got my license when I turned seventeen. They spoil me because they want the best for me and I love them for that but I also try to stay humble and be grateful for what they do. They started to work a little more since I got older but they at least make sure to see me in the morning so I know they're here for me.

I walked up the stairs, dropped my bag and sprawled out on my bed grateful I didn't have evil teachers who give homework the first day. My mind instantly started to wander to Jackson and his party. I instantly became nervous because I've never been to a party before and not only am I going to a party but I'm going to Jackson Ray's party. I can't help but be a little excited as well, I wonder if he'll notice me and talk to me. I let that sit in the back of my mind while I just laid there staring at the ceiling.
