Crazy, Beautiful Mistake. [ON HOLD INDEFINITELY]

No Matter What.

I can see Jackson breathe a little sigh of relief that his dad left the room. At the same time I could tell he was worried for when I leave and he has to face his father.

"Hey how about you spend the weekend with me?," I asked him. "I met your parents now you should meet mine." I smiled at him as I nudged his shoulder as my way of coaxing him to say yes.

"I think you're forgetting I already met your mom and she didn't quite like me," he says matter of factly.

"I don't mean my biological parents I mean Kaiya's parents who are more like my real family than my own," I say to him.

"Will they be okay with that?," he asks me with a skeptical look on his face.

"For sure! They'll be okay with it," I reassure him. "Plus the babies would enjoy having their dad around," I smiled as I looked down and rubbed circles around my stomach.

"Sounds good," he says and gives me a smile that makes me go weak at the knees. All I could think was 'how did I get so lucky'? He says a quick bye to his mom and we walk outside. My mood quickly changed back to annoyed because I remembered I drove here. I struggle back behind the wheel and lead the way to Kaiya's. Hopefully they haven't gone to the movies yet so Jackson and I can join them.

After like 30 minutes of tortuous driving we finally made it. I basically sprinted out the car I've never seen myself move so fast. That's how uncomfortable I was. Jackson parks and follows behind me as we walk up the stairs and through the door.

"Ohana! I'm home!," I yell to them but no one responded. I just shrugged, "I guess they're not here," I said to Jackson.

I checked my phone to see if Kaiya text back and she did. It said:

BehhFrehhn😍😘❤️: 'I'm afraid to ask but what are you talking about??'

Instead of texting her back I decided to call her. "Hey girl," I said when she answered.

"Hey! Now why do I owe you?," she asks me.

"I'll tell you later. Have you guys gone to the movies yet? Oh and where's your parents? They're not here and I wanted to discuss something with them," I told her.

"No the movie starts in like an hour we were about to leave cause the drive is almost 45 minutes. Are you coming after all? And it's my parents date night they don't get home till late on date night," she said. I just know she was rolling her eyes at her parents date night tradition.

"Don't roll your eyes I think it's awesome your parents still love eachother and yeah Jackson and I are gonna tag along we'll meet you guys there, usual place right?," I ask her.

"How did you know....?," she trailed off, "Nevermind but yeah usual place! See you there hun!"

"See you there!," I let her know and hang up. I turn to Jackson, "You up for a movie?," I smile at him.

"Hell yes," he says.

"You're driving I'm getting tired of struggling in and out my too small excuse of a car," I say.

He chuckles at me, "I wouldn't have it any other way, together forever?," he asks and kisses me on the forehead.

"No matter what," I say and take his hand as we make our way out the door.
