Monday morning came around fast. Faster than I was ready for I wouldn't mind putting what I have to do off forever if possible. My mom is right though he deserved to know about the life we made whether he wants to contribute or not. I just wish he wasn't such a dick. Sighing I rolled out of bed after turning off my alarm clock and slowly made my way to my bathroom. I could already tell it's going to be a LONG day. Uuuggghhhh!
After taking a shower and blow drying my hair I walked to my closet to get dressed. I picked out a white crop top with a flowy see through crop top blouse over it and some light blue, acid wash, ripped skinny jeans. I also put on my nude open toe wedges. After finishing my usual morning ritual I went downstairs, "Aloha Ohana!" I said smiling. My parents smiled back and said a cheery "Hi" back to me.
"Oh I forgot to tell you I made you an appointment to check the baby and see if everything is okay it's tomorrow so after school no dilly dallying with Kaiya come straight home, okay?" My mom said.
"Sure but actually can she come with us? She's been really supportive and I don't feel right leaving her out."
"Yeah of course the more the merrier," my mother spoke. Sometimes I forget we're Hawaiian when I hear my parents speak. We've been in the states so long and sometimes I swear they sound white. Not that it's a bad thing it's just something I'm still trying to get used to because I actually really miss Hawaii and our old traditions. We try to visit as much as we can though.
"Alright I'm off to school I'll see you guys later," I told them while kissing them on the cheek and grabbing my forest green purse to complete the outfit.
"Aloha Lani," they said at the same time. I laughed "Aloha mommy and daddy," I waved as I walked out the door to go get Kaiya.
It took me longer than usual to get to her house I unfortunately hit every red light so I could already tell this would be a bad Monday. Oh joy! I thought while groaning. Can you sense my sarcasm? Just as I was sighing from my thoughts Kaiya got in the car. "Why the long face?" she asked me as I pulled away and headed to school.
"I have to tell Jackson today and the day is already starting out bad," I whined to her.
"Cheer up! You're having a baby that's a miracle!" she exclaimed.
I smiled "Yeah I guess you're right oh and my first appointment is tomorrow mom said you can come along cause I don't think I could do it without my best friend/baby's godmother." I waited for her reaction.
"OH MY GOSH!! YOU SERIOUS?!!!" she screamed, very loudly might I add. "Yeah of course!" I told her.
"This is amazing! Thank you so much! Oh I'm gonna spoil the crap outta that baby I hope it's a girl!" She went on like this the whole ride to school. I pulled into the parking lot and parked lavender. Getting out I spotted Jackson by himself getting his bag out his car 'this is my chance' I thought. "Hey I'll see you later," I told Kaiya while nodding my head in his direction. She looked over and nodded in understanding while giving me a thumbs up to say good luck. I walked over to him and he looked up when he felt my presence.
"Hey new girl," he smirked at me but I ignored it. Well I tried to but he's so frickin' sexy.
"Hey we kinda need to talk its important," I mumbled nervously.
"Well go ahead talk I'm listening," he said leaning against his car and continuing to smirk at me.
"Well I'm late," I told him while he looked at me confused until he smiled back at me "Actually the bell hasn't rung so..."
"What? Is everybody really that dense?!" I yelled getting aggravated (Damn hormones!). "That's not what I meant!" I huffed at him.
"Woah sorry!" he said raising his hands in surrender. "My bad calm down okay," he started to whisper and look around to make sure I didn't grab anyone's attention. That's when I really got pissed off.
I narrowed my eyes at him and said again, "I'm late you jackass!"
Still looking at me confused he said, "I still don't know what you mean..."
"My period you retard it's late and I'm pregnant," I said after cutting him off.
That's when his eyes suddenly widened as if he was recalling the night we had and remembering his lack of protection. I don't know why I snapped at him but when he was making a big deal about whether I grabbed people's attention I became livid and the anger just poured out. He was standing there dumbstruck for a couple minutes before I couldn't take it anymore, "Look don't worry about it my family got me because Ohana actually means something to us and it obviously means nothing to you. This is my baby I don't... No 'WE' don't need you." With that I walked away and didn't look back who needs the player bad boy anyway I thought as I sighed.
