This girl is SICK!

Alden's POV.

I looked at my laptop in disbelief.
We had lost the yesterday's deal.
I know this was because of that someone!

I was already furious.

I just wish that person gets caught. Once he is caught, He won't want to imagine his condition.

I checked another mail and it showed the name of the company who had the deal.

That surprised me even more!!
More like angered me.
I clenched my fists and tried to control my anger.

I buzzed the bell.

There was a knock on the door in few seconds.

"Come in!" I said in a forced calm voice.

"Christen, Call Ms. Adams.." I said still looking at my laptop.

Taking slow and deep breath I stayed calm. I am sure my eyes were unnaturally blue by now..

"But Sir, She left.." She said and I snapped my head up.

"Left???" I asked surprised.

She nodded.
"She wasn't feeling well!" She said.
I looked at her with my eyebrows up for further explanation.

"I don't know.. She just left.. She was clutching her head and couldn't walk properly and I called after her but she just.. just.. Went!!" She added with worried expressions.

May be Caroline has made a new friend huh?

"Who was with her before she left??" I asked.

"Mr. Jones were there I guess and few people in her cabin?"

Dave??

"Oh.. Okay!" I said and gave a curt nod indicating her to go.

She went out and I called David.

"Hello Alden!" He said as soon as he picked up the call.

"Dave, You know where did Ms. Adams go?" I asked getting straight to the point.

"Nope!" He said popping out 'P' which annoyed me even more. "Why!?? Am I missing something there huh?!"

"Dave! Be serious for once?? Wasn't she feeling well?" I asked irritated. This guy is immature than that girl!!

"Probably! Like she was damn irritated and clutched her head." He replied.

God! She is really sick.
Pun intended!!

"Can you check the cameras and tell me anything about her?" I asked worried.

She was saying the truth when she said people suffocate her??

Of course she was!! Why on the Earth she would whine and request you??

My mind said which was true of course! In no way Caroline would back away from me!!

She was serious about it!!

What I have done?

"Alden?!" Dave's voice brought me back from my thoughts.

"Yeah?" I said.

"Dude, she just sat in a car and drove away!" He said.

"Was she alone??" I asked.

"Yeah??" He said.

"Are you sure???" I asked him again.

I know at least One of her brothers came to drop her and pick her up.
