Silver Bullet/ Wooden Stake

We always knew that this day would come

Inevitably what we're running from

Will end this

Will end us

The wine held us high but not forever

Gold will bend and break

We aren't any better

During the storm when the winds collide

I find your eyes and cry every time

The end of the world only hurts if you let it

Sit at home and drown yourself

Invite me in

We can fray the seams

Of vanity

Insanity

Stop pretending that you're innocent

You know we know how we ruined this

You killed them

You killed them

Stop flashing that smile baby we know you're sad

Baby, we know you're drab

Under that gold is black

Over the sin is sand

You didn't

Stop what's coming

You ended my life

But it's alright

You made my night

One last time

Those pills you take hurt less if you swallow them dry

Everything hurts more if you try to get by

Nothing stopped you before what's stopping you now

You heard the screams

Still hear them from my mouth

I know you get a kick out of watching me burn

I know you blame yourself but it's only the fault

Of faith

In me

Hellooooooo again! So this is a pretty rough poem as it is; I might go back and edit later. For now, I'm just happy to get something out and published. Have an amazing day and I hope you like Silver Bullet/ Wooden Stake! <3
