I heard a knock at the door and, with a sigh, I got up to answer it.

"Still on for the movie, tonight?" I heard Braden asking Norah.

Yep, tonight Norah and Braden decided to stay in and watch a horror movie together. I, of course, had been invited by none other than my best friend (-cough-myself-cough-).

Sweet smile.

I love horrors, they're way better than action movies. Not that I don't like action movies, I just prefer horrors.

Plus, Norah had a bet going with Braden that she wouldn't even get the slightest bit frightened when watching The Grudge.

Like I was going to miss a scared Norah.

Hah, I was definitely bringing my camera.

I could never resist a chance to blackmail.

I opened the door to reveal none other than Miss Leila Sterling.

God, how I hate that girl. She's the ditziest, sluttiest girl in this entire school. Yes, she's one of those freaky groupie-like, wannabe popular slut girls hanging around us popular, player guys.

Yes, I know. I'm a player guy, I find easy lays and whatnot and although Leila is an easy lay, she is so clingy and the most annoying person in the entire world. If you even so much as say hi to her (applicable to only guys), she immediately latches onto you and goes around announcing that you're boyfriend and girlfriend.

Cue the shudder.

"Oh, like, oh my god, hi Dante!" she chirruped. I grimaced but quickly covered it up with a false smile.

She didn't notice. The grimace, I mean.

I raised my hand at her in a small wave, keeping my mouth shut.

"I, like, didn't know you like stayed here! I mean, I guess I, like, got the dorm number wrong! I was, like, looking for my, like friend, like Stella?" she practically squealed.

"Uh, yeah I haven't seen her, okay? Okay, bye Leila." And I slammed the door in her face.

Pfft, who cares if I was rude?

The girl's mental. She's a freakin' wannabe lapdog…stalker.

It's just creepy. I suppressed another shudder before walking into the room to see Braden and Norah making out.

And I felt something weird in my stomach. It felt like it was churning, much like before except more dangerously. I ignored it though, thinking it was just something that I had eaten for breakfast today. I sighed heavily as I leant against the doorframe, my arms crossed over my chest.

"Break it up, people, come on. Break it up. In case you hadn't noticed, I for one, do not need to see my best friend and tutor making out. It's just gross." I heaved a shudder to make it seem more dramatic than it really was.

Norah scowled at me whilst I just smirked back at her.

Norah shrieked loudly and buried herself in the crook of Braden's arm where he instantly moved to cuddle and protect her.

I just laughed loudly, popping another popcorn kernel into my mouth.

"I win." I heard Braden whisper softly to Norah who sighed sadly.

"Fine." she muttered before cautiously looking back to the screen only to yelp and bury her head into Braden's chest this time. Again, my stomach did that weird churning thing. So, I decided to take it easy on the popcorn and soda.

"You're such a wimp, Norah." I stated in a very matter-of-fact tone.

She turned and looked at me, her hazel eyes glaring.
