Norah;
"I-" I began but was immediately silenced by a mouth. His warm lips resting gently on mine in a sweet kiss. Then, he pulled away and I found myself staring dazedly into bright blue eyes filled with warmth and something else indescribable.
"Please." he said, a desperate, pleading tone in his deep voice.
"I will." I whispered, completing my earlier sentence which I had failed to finish due to Braden. And his mouth.
He grinned down at me and I felt chills running up and down my spine. He leaned in towards me and kissed me again on the lips. It was similar to the earlier one but this held a sort of unspoken passion. So, I did the one thing I could only think of doing right then.
I kissed him back.
I don't know how long we were standing in the pool, the water reaching up to my shoulders about three-quarters of the way and reaching up to three-quarters of Braden's arms.
One of his big, warm hands were in my hair, entangling his fingers with my wet strands. The other was resting on my lower back, pulling me close to him.
My pulse skittered.
I had my hands in his amazing blonde locks, my fingers lacing through the blonde strands, clutching tightly (although not hurting him) as he kissed me, a lust-filled kiss and I kissed him back forcefully with just as much hunger.
Then we broke apart and I stared wide-eyed at him. He was staring in a slight daze at me, our breaths coming out in slightly short gasps.
My first kiss.
Amazing.
"Norah?" he whispered softly to me and I just gazed at him.
"Mm?"
"Wow."
He and I both chuckled after this comment, shaking our heads. I had bent my head down, refusing to meet bright blue eyes. I was a little embarrassed though so can you blame me?
I felt him move ever more closer to me and tilt my chin up so I was being forced to look into those wondrous blue eyes of his.
"I really like you a lot, you know. I care about you, Norah."
Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Bee-
I slammed my hand down onto the OFF button and sat up groggily in bed. I groaned as I felt wave after wave of tiredness hitting me.
I wanted sleep.
I needed sleep.
Sleep…
I dropped down back onto the bed, my head flopping and sinking into my fluffy pillows. I felt my eyelids becoming heavier as I was thinking about the dream I just had before my alarm clock oh-so rudely interrupted it. A small smile graced my lips as I felt the sensation of lips over mine. It felt all so real, Braden and I in the pool, kissing…
I bolted upright, a small shriek escaping out from my mouth. My hands immediately flew up to my mouth and covered it, my eyes wide. I heard a thump on my door before it swung open to reveal a messy-haired Jenna on the floor in her light blue pyjamas. She groaned quietly before hauling herself up using the door handle to support her. She shook her head before squinting sleepily at me in the dim morning light.
"What's wrong, Nors? I heard the screaming so I came over here as fast as I could…" she trailed off, a yawn finding it's way out of her mouth.
I slowly removed my hands from my mouth and limply clasping them in my lap. I was resting my back against the wall now, my eyes staring down at my hands as I ran through that whole dream again. No wonder it felt so real…it was real.
