Dante;

I stared at the cold pasta that was sitting in its plastic container before sticking my fork into it and raising it to my lips.

As I chewed, I glanced around the kitchen, spying the clock sitting innocently on the counter nearby. I peered carefully at it, seeing the time was about 10:15.

I shrugged to myself and continued eating my pasta, feeling a little sleepy. I'd stayed up all night yesterday at, where else?

A party.

I yawned tiredly, rubbing my eyes.

Suddenly, I heard rattling around, a look of confusion finding it's way onto my face as I got up to open the door, only I didn't get a chance to.

Norah and Braden had come crashing through the door that they had just opened and were now lying sprawled out across the floor, Norah lying atop Braden.

I felt something coursing throughout my whole body as I looked at the two of them, but quickly brushed the sensation off to one side and crouched down beside them.

I hadn't seen Norah in a week already.

"Hey! It's my buddy! Danny!" Braden laughed loudly and I winced at the stench of alcohol radiating off of him. I glanced at Norah, almost afraid to see if she was drunk too but thankfully, she wasn't.

In fact, she looked kind of pissed to be honest.

"Hey." I said to her, quietly.

"Hi." she replied in a curt tone.

Ouch, she is in a bad mood.

I sighed and helped Braden up from the floor, Norah assisting.

"So, party?"

Norah nodded and after that, we fell silent, dragging a now half-asleep Braden to his room.

I kicked the door open and we tried to lay him down onto the bed as gently as we could but it seemed today, Braden had major issues. He refused to let go of Norah, dragging her down with him.

"Braden!" she hissed but he had already fallen asleep. He didn't seem to be letting go of the hold either, anytime soon.

I smirked at her in the darkness, she looked so pathetic lying there.

"Nichols! Help me!" she growled in a low tone. I just shook my head.

"Nope."

"What? Stupid jerk, help!"

"What do I get out of it?"

"How about you'll get a horrific beating from me if you don't help me out?"

"Eh, nah."

"Asshole."

"Don't you like your boyfriend anymore?"

I saw her stiffen in the dark and I knew that I had touched point on a very sensitive subject.

Stupid Nichols.

We were silent for a while before I reached over and pried Braden's arms away from her.

We left the room quietly, closing the door behind us with a soft click.

I slid into my seat, back in the kitchen, whilst Norah collapsed into her one, sighing heavily.

"Did you guys have fun?" I asked quietly.

I didn't really want to set her off or anything, it wasn't exactly the time to do something like that.

To my relief, she responded as if what happened before, didn't actually happen.
