Betty came to resolve some issues but chickened out. you saw her turn to leave and rushed to open your front door.

the sound of the door opening made Betty turn around. "hey.. i saw you walk up and then you just turned to leave?" you asked and shifted you weight onto your left leg.
Betty inhaled, and nodded. "uh, yeah- I came to apologise for what happened yesterday. it wasn't my intention to g-"
"don't, say it. it doesn't bother me too much and it was an accident, right?" Betty nodded and clasped her hands together. "then why are you a still stood there looking like a lost puppy! come on in!" you said and pulled her by the hand.
