Samantha had caught archie cheating, kissing another girl. her heart was broken, shattered into a million pieces. she felt like he had stamped all over her, breaking it in the process.

Samantha had ran out and away to the only place she felt safe after witnessing her worst nightmare. Archie, the boy she had loved and cared for, kissing a different girl just like they said he would.
she couldn't stop the tears from cascading down her cheeks. her heart was broken. the bell on the door rang as a new customer entered, but she took no notice. it had been at least twenty minutes since she witnessed heart break, she wondered if archie was still with the girl.
"samantha." the voice made her freeze. it was the same voice that belonged to the boy she now felt a hidden hatred for. refusing to look at him, she hid her blotchy face with her arms, gripping the cuff of her jacket. "please, sam, im so so sorry. I- i know you might thin-"
"please just leave me alone." she managed to choke out, the sadness and heartbreak was flooding from her mouth.
archie sighed, rubbing his face and sat in front of his girlfriend soon to be ex. the flowers he had were placed in front of her, and the chocolates were shoved right up to her arms.
taking a peek at what it was, samantha scoffed. finally letting her face show, she shoved them away. "what? you think some crappy chocolates and some tulips are simply gonna solve this?" she paused, wiping her eyes. "you- you cheated, on me. cheated! i saw you kissing another girl in an alleyway?" Samantha scoffed again, questions why he'd ever think to do that.
"look, baby, im so-"
"no. you do not get to call me that after what you've done." the girl stood up, grabbing her clutch, ready to walk away.
"wait Sam please. im sorry okay? i know it was stupid and im sorry." archie pleaded for her forgiveness, but she was having nothing of it.
"no archie, it's. over."
and with that, samantha waltzed out of the diner, and home where she spent the rest of the night, sobbing to herself about how the best thing in her life, could turn it all upside down.
