Archie approached Reggie with a bright smile on his face. "guess what." his cheerful tone caught Reggie's attention.
"what, dude." Reggie replied and brushed his hands together, letting any dust or dirt fly off.
"she said yes." Archie announced. Reggie furrowed his brows and tilted his head.
"who? what are you talking about?" he asked, completely clueless.
"y/n! she said she'd go to homecoming with you!" Archie exclaimed, tapping him on the shoulder.
it took reggie a moment to register what Archie had just said.
"holy crap!" he shouted, smiling wildly. he didn't stop smiling for the rest of the day.
