"im sorry you have daddy issues." Veronica spat out. your face morphed into one of hurt and confusion. where the hell did that come from? Veronica realised what she had just said and stepped towards you.
on instinct, you stepped back and gripped onto the hem of your sleeve. "oh my god, y/n I'm so sorry- I didn't mean to- it just slipped o-"
"no Veronica, you meant it." you stated and left the room, leaving a regretful Veronica there too.
