Archie sees Isabelle and Reggie talking. Instantly thinking that the two are flirting, he does something none of them expected.

Isabella smiled at Reggie's stupid joke about vegetables. the two of them were planning a way to get Reggie a date with Veronica. "okay definitely do not say that to her." she giggled.
Reggie noticed Archie speed walking over to the two of them. "oh, lover boys making his way over to you, quickly too." Reggie told Isabella who stood up from her chair to see Archie less that a meter away from her.
"hey Arc-"
before she even got a chance to greet him, he had her face in his hands and his lips on hers. it took Isabella by surprise. she didn't expect their first kiss to go like this. she wasn't complaining though. while it was a slightly rough and unexpected, it was sweet to be able to kiss Archie.
only seconds later, Archie let her go and turned, walking away. to say Isabella was shocked would be an understatement. "what the hell was that?" Reggie asked. Isabella shrugged and licked her lips.
"i have no idea, um, can we do this tomorrow?" Isabella asked. Reggie nodded and Isabella picked up her stuff and followed after Archie.
she figured from the direction he went, he was headed for Pops.
Isabella got their quickly and spotted Archie sat in a booth looking at his hands. a milkshake sat in front of him, untouched. Isabella slid into the booth but Archie didn't do anything. "hey, what happened?" Isabella asked.
She got no reply.
"Archie? hey! don't ignore me!" she exclaimed waving a hand inform of his face. Archie didn't even spare her a glance. "fine."
she sat their for two minutes, neither of them saying anything. he hadn't touched his drink either. "are you gonna drink that?" she asked, Archie didn't reply that time. "im gonna take that as a no and thus milkshake." she smiled and took a sip from it, figuring out it was strawberry.
"come on Archie. talk to me." her voice was softer that time. "did I do something? i can't remember doing anything bad. i was laughing with Reggie and then you just kissed me and then walked away!" it took her a few seconds but then she realised. when she mentioned Reggie, Archie's jaw clenched. "holy crackers. you're jealous!" Isabella laughed, clapping her hands.
Archie huffed and finally looked at her. "i can't believe you were jealous of me and Reggie! we're practically related Archie. did you think we were flirting?" Archie only gave her a stiff nod. Isabella smiled and stood up. she held out her hand for him to take and stand up. he did so, without taking her hand. "listen, i would never flirt with anyone else because, i like you. you Archie! and when you kissed me it made it all clear..." Isabella told him, smiling.
Archie suddenly grinned, "good, because that means I can do this again." he says before pulling her lips onto his again. this time it was slower and more meaningful. Isabella loved it.
