Jefferson's Pov:

So Hamilton actually endorsed me instead of Burr? I'm not surprised. Why? Didn't he tell you? Oh, in that case, I better.

See, Alexander was a drunk and broken mess last night. I heard a knock on my door, so I answered it. There he was. Sniffling and crying  on my steps like a three year old.

"Hamilton? What is it? It's late." I said with a frown forming onto my lips.

"Thomas..please, can I come in?" He said hiccuping.

I looked around for his friends who weren't usually that far behind, or even maybe his wife. But no one seemed to be coming to retrieve him from my doorstep. I looked back down at the smaller male and sighed. I didn't like seeing him like this, drunk and crying. It was enough to see him full of energy ad being cocky. But this...I'd never seen anyone so broken.

I rolled my eyes stepping out of the way. "Fine, but don't ruin anything in my house." I watched as he walked in, looking around. I checked outside yet once again. Still no one. I closed the door turning my attention back to Alexander. He had made his way to my living room area and had sat down on the couch looking up at the ceiling.

I walked myself over to the couch and sat myself down next to Alexander. "What's wrong? Your quiet. Which is highly unusual."

He looked at me a small smile appearing on his face. But it was soon gone, because the pain had took over again. He turned himself looking at me. "I ruined their lives Thomas..." He said, his gaze was on me, but I knew he was not looking at me.

"Who's lives?" I raised a brow. I knew who's lives, but I had to just make sure we were on the same page.

"Eliza's....Philip's....I ruined Maria's too...." He looked down at his lap. Now, I wish I could tell you what was happening inside his brain, but I cannot. Another emotion went through his eyes. "I'm so stupid!" He said punching his knee.

Now, I wasn't about to have any of this, in my house. I grabbed both of Alexander's wrists holding them in the air. "Alexander look at me." Which he did, I hoped that he was actually going to hear what I was going to say. Instead of the alcohol blurring it out. "You're human, we all make mistakes."

"Have you ruined someone's life Thomas?..." He asked looking away.

Now, pause for a moment. Look at this situation, he's in my house. He's drunk, and now he says he ruined lives. What was I supposed to do?  Of course I hadn't ruined a life...

He was so broken...

Okay, whatever,  continue.

"No I haven't but....I've made mistakes myself.  I know its hard to believe,  but I have." Alexander slowly looked up at me. God, I had one thought running through my mind at the time. 'God, he looks so helpless.'

He let himself go limp. I held him, he must've been so tired. But, he remained awake. He really should've taken that break. But maybe, that's what this was.

I looked down at him. He had his gaze set on something in the distance. He was probably thinking. I still couldn't tell what was going on in his mind. If I could, it probably wouldn't help at all.

"This is weird, you're quiet." Was all I said. I wish I would've said something different, like 'It'll be okay.' Or 'Cheer up, smile more.' I don't know. Something, that meant something. But no, I said, 'This is weird, you're quiet.'

But it managed to get a chuckle out of him. "I bet it is strange for you.." He hiccuped and looked up at me.

Pause.

I hadn't realized it before, but his eyes are quiet nice to look at. I would have enjoyed the moment more if his breath hadn't smelt so much like alcohol. But his eyes, they seemed to sparkle.

I shouldn't have enjoyed this moment so as I did. He had a wife for one, and two I wasn't any sorts of gay...well...not for him.

Ignore all the statements I made, let's just get back to it..

I stared down at him. I really had no idea what to do with him. He was something else. "Uh huh." I just nodded. I hadn't noticed that he had made his way closer to my face until I actually focused on the situation. There he was, about two inches away. His eyes focusing on something on my face. It made me nervous actually. I had no idea what he was staring at. Was there something on my face? "What is there something on my face?"

Pause. Yes, I actually asked him that. What? Why don't you look surprised?  Whatever. Here we go, it gets good now.

"Thomas help me..." Alexander said in barely a whisper.

"How?" I furrowed my brows together. I could've sent him home or put him to bed, that would've helped of course.

Now, I'm guessing what he did next was because of the alcohol. He put his lips on mine. Yup, that's right.

Alexander Hamilton, kissed me.

Pause. I can see it on your face. Shocking right. Just wait there's more. What? Did I pull away? ........Well...no....no I didn't.

Why didn't I pull away? At that moment in time, I thought it was going to help him. It stopped his crying right? So I guess it worked. It helped me in the end.

Whatever, stop interrupting me. Let's continue.

It got so much better, the kiss deepened. It escalated rather quickly I suppose. I was enjoying myself. Wouldn't you have to though? I knew what I was doing was wrong, but I wasn't the married one. Plus, he asked for it.

So, we had our little fun that night. When we woke up the next morning, Alexander was up first. Of course. But I wanted to see his reaction of waking up with my arms wrapped around his waist, so I opened my eyes. It was about dawn, and Alexander was beginning to stir. I looked down at him.

His eyes opened. God, he still looked like a mess. Especially his hair. I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. His eyes instantly looked up at me. I let a smirk spread onto my lips. "Morning sleeping beauty~"

"Thomas?!" He said quiet loudly and began to scramble to get out of my grip. I let him go watching him fall off my bed.

Don't worry, he was fine.

"So eager to go?" I said chuckling as I watched him scramble to put his clothes on as quickly as he could.

"I should be at home, not here!" He said fully dressed and running out of my room.

I got up to follow him.

Don't worry I had underware on.

"Don't be afraid to stop by again!" I called. He glanced back at me, his face turned a dark red. Then he left.

And I don't think Alexander was as drunk as he appeared. I think he just wanted that as an excuse to get into my bed.

Oh well, I don't care now. Know why?

Cause I'm the president~
