The alphas and omegas of the pack were busy preparing for the upcoming courting season. Alphas were seen practicing their hunting in the woods or working out to get stronger. Omegas were busy grooming themselves and making themselves more desirable for the alphas they wanted to get the attention from. Jimin could only watch as the days went passed without him doing anything to prepare. His brothers had made it crystal clear that they wouldn't let him be courted by any alphas this year once again. Even his best friend Taehyung was preparing himself these days. He spent the first two days after the announcement listening to the omega go on about hoping that Hyun would finally make his move on him. All he could do was listen and give his friend some support despite how disappointed he felt.
It had already been 4 days since the announcement. And just like any day that had passed, Jimin woke up with that same disappointment bubbling in his gut. Even if he would be allowed to participate when courting season officially begins, he knows it won't be easy for alphas to approach him. His brothers had made it crystal clear they would keeping an eye on all alphas. There wasn't much he could do, and even if he made the first step in approaching any alpha it wouldn't turn in his favor. So instead of preparing like all the other omegas, he went about his days as if it were any other normal day. He finished his chores, helped out his father in the kitchens and spent time on him own to keep his mind off of things. Just he was doing now, laying on the grass with a book in hand and a pile of flowers in front of him. He had weaved a few flower crowns, and picked a bouquet for his father. The rushes of fresh air were making the day even more enjoyable as he laid on his stomach, continuing to read his book about herbs and their beneficial uses. He had found a small clearing full of flowers that was close to their pack grounds. It would be easy for anyone in his pack to walk by and see him. That's why he wasn't afraid of being alone for hours without anyone watching him.
The sudden snapping twigs made him rise up on his knees instantly, his instincts on high alert. He didn't know what could be there, but his senses were making his skin crawl. He tried to keep himself grounded, knowing the area was deep in their territory for it to be a stranger. The rustling of leaves stopped after a gust of air passed through and when he began to feel calm, a loud growl erupt through the air. Fear lit up in Jimin's eyes when two rogue wolves, big and feral, emerged from the trees and surrounded him. They were in their wolf forms, it was easy for him to know they were both alphas. The two wolves circled him and Jimin managed to get up on his feet, eyes frantic as he tried to look for a quick escape.
The crackling of bones caught his attention, and he saw as the brown coated wold from the two shifted. A sly smirk was directed towards him, and suddenly his body was screaming at him to run and get away. But he couldn't move, he didn't know where to run or who to run to for help.
"We were in the middle of chasing someone but we just happen to stumble upon a beautiful omega." The wolf spoke as he took several steps in his direction, "what do you say we have a little fun, you aren't mated and your scent is so sweet it is making me go crazy."
"Stop!" he tries to warn with a shaky voice, " You will regret it, you don't know who you're messing with."
"C'mon sweet heart, don't be so cold. Submit nicely or I will make you submit and you won't like that." the alpha responds coldly as he approaches closer, the other wolf following behind him.
Jimin found enough courage to make a move, and he turned away to run. He could feel his feet trying to run as fast as he could. But it was useless, the wolf that hadn't shifted managed to reach him in mere seconds. And before he could help it, he was sprawled on the floor. The man was lowering himself down in front of him, eyes darkening with lust. He didn't know what else to do, and he closed his eyes in defeat. But a growl brought him back to his senses and he opened his eyes as another wolf lunged from the trees and attacked the man. The rogue yelled in pain from the attack, and it didn't take long for him to shift back to defend himself. But it was not enough, the wolf had already taken the upper hand in the fight. It didn't take long for the brown haired wolf to drop to the floor, dead. The other black haired alpha growled and leaped toward the golden one and they began baring their teeth at each other. The black furred wolf tried once again to pin him down but the golden one was faster and bit into his neck and killed him as well.
