CHAPTER 14: START OVER AGAIN

※MELIODAS' POV※

I was at England trying to find Elizabeth's whereabouts. I was at a park.

I've showed many people of Elizabeth's picture but, they don't seem to see her.

I was walking around like 3 hours, now? That is how much I love her. I can manage everything for her. If she's hurt, badly, I was the same. No... mine is much worse. I wanted to see her. I wanted to hear her voice. I wanted to feel her presence.

"Elizabeth, where could you be?" I asked myself. Suddenly, I saw Kanata then, Kanata saw me and he ran towards me.

"Meliodas, I'm positive that you're looking for Elizabeth, right?" He asked.

"Right," I nodded.

"I saw her at the pond," Kanata said.

"Really?! Thanks! By the way, when is your wedding? Can I... be invited on my best friend's wedding?" I asked.

"No," he answered.

"Why?"

"Because, there is no wedding," he smiled and my eyes went wide.

"What?"

"We cancelled our wedding because she still loves you," Kanata said.

"And you're okay with it?" I asked.

"Yep, in fact, we're just friends," he said and I smiled.

"Thank you, Kanata! Thanks," I said with tears in my eyes.

"With pleasure," he smiled and I ran towards the pond and there, I saw Elizabeth sitting on a bench, looking at her phone.

♡ELIZABETH'S POV♡

I was just looking at the pictures in my phone. I miss all of them. Suddenly, I saw Meliodas in the picture.

"Meliodas..." I mumbled

"Yeah?" Someone spoke from behind.

"Meliodas?!" I jumped. He stepped closer to me then, I ran away.

"Elizabeth, wait!" He shouted then, followed me. Why am I running away?!

I kept running and running until I found the train station. I smiled and ran in. I was about to enter the train when someone pulled my arm.

"Elizabeth," Meliodas pulled me closer to him. I turned red. He hugged me tighter. I tried to get off of his grasp but, his hug got tighter.

"M-Meliodas?"

"Elizabeth, I'm sorry," he said.

"For what?" I asked.

"For breaking all my promises to you," he said and I smiled.

"It's okay. I understand," I said and he break the hug.

"Meli-" I was cut off when he suddenly kissed me. He pulled away.

"Elizabeth, I already knew," he said looking at me.

"About what?" I asked.

"About your wedding," he said.

"So..." I looked away.

"Why did you cancelled your wedding?" He asked.

"B-because, I... I..." Elizabeth, just say it! Say that you still love him! Just say it!

"Because you love me, isn't it...?" He said. Eh?! He beat me to it! I just blushed while looking away then, he chuckled.

"Yeah, I love you, too. That's why I'm here. The others wants you back. So, will you come back?" Meliodas asked and I have the biggest smile.
