CHAPTER 8: CHRISTMAS

Elizabeth's Pov

"Yay! It's Christmas!" I exclaimed as I wore warm clothes and rushed outside.

"Oh me gosh! It's White Christmas!" I said as I played on the snow.

"Huh, Elizabeth?" I heard a voice then, I turned around and saw Meliodas walking on the pathway.

"Oh uh, hi?" I said, embarrass. That was really embarrassing! Meliodas saw me like a kid!

"Looks fun, can I join?" He asked then, I smiled.

"Sure!" I smiled then, he played with me. We started to throw snowballs and make snowman.

"Hey, whatcha guys doing?" We turned around and saw everyone.

"See for yourself!" Meliodas said then, we showed then the half body of the snowman.

"Let's join in!" Liz dragged the others to play with us.

"Snowball fight!" Diane threw a snowball at me at the back. Then, I smirked and threw a snowball at Meliodas on the face then, we laughed.

"Oh, it's on!" Meliodas said then, we threw snowballs at each other. Merlin and Gowther went inside to make some hot chocolate.

"Hey, let's team up!" King said. Then, I'm on Meliodas' team. Liz and Zeldris are with us. Estarossa, Ban, King and Diane.

Then, the fight begins.

I threw balls at Ban but, I always missed. Then, Ban made many snowballs and started to spin and started throwing balls.

"Duck!" I shouted and ducked.

"Ducks?" Liz asked, excitedly.

I know ducks are cute, but not that "duck"!

With that, Liz was hit on the face and we laughed.

"Oh, that kind if duck," Liz said.

"Want some hot chocolate?" Merlin called then, we all cheered like kids.

"Yippy!" We all said except for Meliodas' brothers.

"All of you are just like kids," both of them said.

"What's wrong? We're just enjoying our youth," Meliodas smirked.

"Yes, we do need to enjoy our youth but, be more mature, please," Zeldris said then, we all laughed. We entered and drank some hot chocolate. It was perfect for snowy days like this.

"Why don't we have a Christmas Party?" King suggested.

"Yeah, that would be fun," Diane smiled.

"Okay, the party will be held here!" I smiled.

"Okay!" They all agreed.

"Okay, we'll celebrate it at night. We need to decorate and buy presents. My family and Kanata will join us," I smiled.

Meliodas' Pov

Kanata... so, he will join, too, eh? Oh well...

So, we started decorating and bought gifts. We started the party at night and Elizabeth's family, as well as Kanata, finally arrived.

"Kanata!" Elizabeth hugged him and I just looked somewhere.

"Jealous?" Ban smirked.

"Shut up," I muttered.

"Okay, let the party begin!" Elizabeth smiled. We started by playing party games. All of us participate.

Elizabeth's Pov

"The first game; first, find a partner," Merlin said. I was about to go to Diane when I saw her with King then, I sighed but still, someone tapped me, I turned around and saw Meliodas.

"Let's partner up," he smiled then, I looked around to look for Kanata and it seems they're inside my room, not interested in playing games. I smiled and nodded.

"Okay, first game, eat all the hanging apple," Merlin said.

"Uh, what?" I said then, she chuckled.

"You have to eat these apples which are hanging. No hands allowed, okay?" She smiled then I got it. We start the game. It's making my heart pound, though.

What if the apple moves?! Then, we'll kiss ACCIDENTALLY!!

Negative thoughts came on rushing then, the game started. It was very hard! The apple kept moving and moving but, we have bit one time.

Then, we're about to eat at the same time when the apple moved causing our face to be closed. Our noses touched and we stared at each other. I blushed but, he smiled.

"Hehe, sorry," he said then, I smiled.

"M-me too," I said, blush never left my face. Gosh, this is so embarrassing.

"Okay, c-continue," I said then, the game continued. We won and we are unable to play the next game since we won the first challenge.

After everything, time to give gifts! I gave everyone presents. I gave Gowther a book, I gave Merlin a tube glasses, I gave Diane a bracelet which was made by me, I gave King a sewing kit, I gave Liz a fan, I gave Zeldris a scarf, I gave Estarossa a hat, I gave Elaine's present to King because she was her sister and Elaine's gift is a headband and I gave Meliodas a locket and a bracelet. And it... matches with me. His bracelet and locket were gold while mine are silvers.

Meliodas smiled, giving me a circled Picture.

"Meliodas..." I said. It was him and I on our first date. Who captured it?

Anyway, he has another picture, it was the same as the picture he gave me.

I get it. It's for our lockets.

As we put the pictures in our locket, we laughed and we all said to everyone 'Merry Christmas'!

Time Skip!!!

Everyone went home except for Kanata. My family will stay here. Good thing I have 3 more vacant rooms

"I'll be going, now," Kanata said then, I waved him, goodbye and he left.

"Sis, we want to give you this," Sister Margaret gave me a white box.

"Open it," Father said. I opened it and saw a white dress with highlights of pink.

"Try it on," Sister Veronica said. I walked inside my room and wore the dress. I knew it. It was a wedding gown.

(So, I made that by myself. Not pretty, right? It's up there ↑ ↑)

I think Sister Margaret chose this for me since I like simple dresses.

It was nice.

But, I was still happy that I spent Christmas with my little best friend.
