CHAPTER 7: BIRTHDAY

♡ELIZABETH'S POV♡

I yawned and looked at my calendar.

"What date is today?" I asked myself then, my eyes widen.

"It's my birthday!" I exclaimed. Will my friends remember?! Of course they will! I thought to myself. I walked out to my room and I heard a knocked on my door. I ran towards the door and reveals all the Sins.

"Hey, guys, guess what, today is my-" I was cut off by Meliodas.

"Elizabeth, since you're good at drawing, can you draw me an anime and please, go to my house and accompany Hawk," Meliodas said.

"Um, sure?"

"Great, here is the key to my house! We might come home late," Meliodas threw the keys to me and they ran off. I didn't know that I was already crying.

"They... forgot?" I said to myself. I shrugged it off and I got dressed. I looked at my mailbox first and see if there's any letter. But, when I opened it, I saw my purse.

"Eh?" Then, I took it out and checked if everything was there. Yep, everything is there. I looked at my drawing. It's still the same then, I looked at the back of it and I saw these words.

Meliodas, I love you ♡♡♡
Elizabeth, I love you too

I blushed then, thought that maybe it was written as a friend. I sighed and headed to Meliodas' house. I brought my purse with me.

"Um, Hawk!" I knocked. Hawk opened it.

"Elizabeth-chan!" He jumped and hugged me.

"Hello, so, you're lonely, today," I said.

"It's okay. I don't want that shorty here anyway. Haha, because he just kept making messes," he smiled.

"Okay, so, what do you want to do?" I asked.

"Eat!" He exclaimed.

"Okay. I brought this to you," I showed him a leftovers.

"Leftovers!!" He said happily.

"Um, Hawk-chan where is your kitchen?" I asked.

"Just there," he pointed out on his left.

"Okay," then, I went there to put Hawk's leftovers in a plate. Suddenly, something caught my attention. I looked at their refrigerator. I saw a picture frame and it was the young me and the young Meliodas. I stared at it and Hawk called me. And there, I was back in reality.

"C-coming!" I said and ran back to Hawk. I gave Hawk the leftovers and he ate it.

"Elizabeth, do you still love Meliodas?" He asked then, I stayed silent.

"Meliodas kept mumbling your name even in his sleeps. He kept saying 'Elizabeth, I'm sorry and I love you'. He kept saying that and it worried me," Hawk said.

"He does that?" I asked shocked.

"Yes," he said. Then, he looked at me.

"Meliodas can't live without you. When he knew that you'll be marrying someone else, he said he wanted to die. Then, when you were away, he says 'I'll marry Elizabeth'. That is when he hadn't met Vivian yet," Hawk said.

"So... Meliodas really likes me?"

"He doesn't like you. He loves you more than ever," he said. Then, I stayed quiet and proceeded on drawing anime beside Hawk-chan on the couch.

Time Skip (Nighttime)

"Done!" I exclaimed. I got a hard time thinking of what I should draw but, it turned out to be great.
