"Lara I want you to keep it. However I hope you will never need to use it," grandpa says as I hand him the necklace.

"What? Are you serious?"

"Yes, but I will not allow you to use Trixx's powers unless absolutely necessary"

"Thank you," I give him a hug and replace the necklace around my neck.

"Now go, you don't want to be late for your date with Adrien," he hands me my coat and ushers me out the door.

"Right! Bye, and thanks!" I walk out the door.

I speed walk to Le Grand Paris where Adrien was waiting for me. He managed to get us reservations for their restaurant. All I could think about was getting to try the soup Marinette's uncle made again.

"Hey, Lara," Adrien says when I meet him outside. "Follow me," I follow him and he leads us to our seats.

"Guess what? Grandpa let me keep the miraculous!" He eyes the necklace I was wearing and looks in my eyes.

"You aren't going to use it are you?"

"Why not?" I ask getting defensive.

"Because its dangerous," he reaches across the table and takes my hand. "You've seen what Hawk Moth can create, I don't want anything happening to you"

"It's nice to see you care but I'm only allowed to use it for emergencies anyway"

A waiter comes and he takes our orders. Not long after we get our food. We sat and made small conversation until he pulled something out of his pocket.

"I got you this for your birthday," he slides a small box across to me. I open it and find a pair of snowflake earrings that matched my necklace given to me by my brother.

"Thank you Adrien, I love them," I put them in my ear and he stands up.

"Come on, there's more"

"More?" He pays then grabs my hand and leads me outside. "So where are we going?" I ask as he transforms into Cat Noir.

"Somewhere," he picks me up bridal style and starts to run across roofs.

He stops at the Eiffel Tower, the sun had set and we could see all the city lights. He leaves me waiting in anticipation as he tells me the second part of my present will happen in a minute.

"Alright, what's going to happen in a minute?" He just winks at me and puts a finger to his lips, telling me to be quiet.

I stand, leaning against the railing and watching the city. All the lights looked so beautiful in the dark. Suddenly some of the lights start to go out and eventually the whole town lost power. Cat moves my head to look up at the sky and I see a sky full of stars.

"Wow. Don't tell me you cut the power to the whole city just for this," I keep staring at the stars as I say this.

"No don't worry. There was a planned power outage and I thought it would be great if I brought you up here so you could see all the stars," he hugs me from behind and I lean into his chest.

"I love it. Thank you, Adrien"

I hear an evil laugh come from the other end of the platform we were standing on. Cat turns around and makes sure I was behind him, guarding me. It was too dark for us to see who was there.

"Who's there, show yourself," Cat yells at the darkness.

"Is Cat Noir being a scaredy cat?" The voice asks.

Cat grabs my wrist preparing himself to escape if needed. "I'm no scaredy cat, I've still got 9 lives"

"Cat lets just go. We can watch the stars from my house," he makes no sign of moving. "Cat there's no need to stay"

He stands in a fighting position as the man gets closer, I could hear his steps. He chuckles slightly but continues to move forward.

"Cat Noir why don't you give me your miraculous then I'll let you and the girl go"

"No way. I will not let you lay a hand on either of us"

"I don't want to do that, I just want the ring"

"Cat let's go," I whisper in his ear.

A swarm of moths surround me as I'm pulled away from Cat. The moths block my view of what was going on. I sit pondering if I should use my miraculous or not.

"It's up to you Lara, Master Fu did say to use it in emergencies," Trixx says in my ear.

"Alright. Trixx tran-" I stop when I hear a scream. It was Adrien. "Cat!" I punch at the butterfly cage trying to escape.

Eventually I fall out of the cage but I didn't know I was floating over the edge. I was left dangling from the side.

"Trixx-" I let go of the railing. "Transform!"

I transform as I was falling. I needed to help Cat. This must've been the final battle since the boss was here. I make it back up to the top of the tower when the lights of the city turn back on and find Cat fighting Hawk Moth with his baton.

"So nice of you to join us, Lara"

"It's Vixen and you've messed with the wrong fox," I prepare myself for battle.
