Athena's POV
"I can't believe him!"
"Selfish!"
"Arrogant!"
"Good for nothing....."
These were just a few of the bitter words pouring from my lip as I got ready for tonight. I had never contemplated murder in my life but with him I was starting to think I possibly could. I loved him more than anything but I also hated him more than anything.
He was a complete mind fuck!
Yet instead of refusing to go on the date here I was fastening my heels as I waited for my troubled husband.

I should have refused to go but it would have only caused a fight which would result in me covered in bruises from head to toe. I always used to be one of them people who judged women who chose to stay in abusive relationships but now that I am experiencing it for myself my views had changed. It was a really difficult situation and even if I tried I wouldn't be able to escape him.

It was nearly time to go and I was patiently sitting on the sofa waiting for him. I was still mad but was more concerned about his health and safety rather then where he had been today. I was so excited for this date this morning but now I was feeling sick again. I had been have little dizzy and nausea spells all week. It was getting better so it was probably the chicken Jack cooked the other night, still I hated being sick it really scared me.

Just as I was about to head upstairs and put my pyjamas on I heard the front door handle starting to twist.
He was here!
"Athenaaaaaaa!" He sang pushing the door open making me wince as it smacked off the wall.
Hearing his cheerful, happy voice made me smile instantly. As long as he was happy I was happy. A few seconds passed before I saw his little head peek around the door, a sweet smile on his face.

"Well hello beautiful!" He cheered giving me a famous wink.
''J you're ok!" I exclaimed jumping up from the sofa, ignoring the dizziness I felt and running into his awaiting arms.
